Massive piece around a 1 cm. thick. with a fine relief.

A nice figure, Coptic, Egypt, 1st. century BC - 1st. century AD.
Attractive female idol carved from a hollowed-out bone. The face is dominated by huge, round eyes and a small nose and mouth. The artist has also carved a round belly and female genitals.

An interesting scarab carved and polished in steatite stone, probably New Kingdom or earlier, 18th.-14th. cent. BC.
The somewhat stylized scarab finely carved in the base with an eye form.

Condition: Completely intact, nice Very fine with old deposits.

Ancient Egyptian mix bead lot early shell bead core glass and faience beads nice group.
A nicely engraved steatite stone scarab, Egypt New Kingdom, c. 1539–1075 BC.
Stylized with incised features such as the clypeus, prothorax and elytra marked by single lines. Decorated to the reverse with stylised geometric swirls and loop patterns. The amulet is pierced longitudinally for suspension.

A choice example of a of a large Wadj Sceptre in brown hardstone, with the stone aiming to imitate rolled papyrus.
The scroll is widest at the top, where there is a neck below the faux loop for suspension. The base tapers into a softened point. Such an amulet would have been for ritual buriel.
