Attractive Greek Campanian red-figure squat lekythos with palmette. Late 4th century BC.

Height 10,8cm, ø corpus 5,1cm.

Condition: The jug intact, with minor ancient chip to the rim and encrustations. The decorations are finely preserved on this vessel. Small pinhole drilled in antiquity in the base rim.

Late Corinthian plate with nice polychrome painting, dating to 5th - 4th century BC.

Very attractive dish that was made with two holes in the rim for hanging it.

Condition: Nice VF, one fragment reattached and restored nicely.

White ground lekythos decorated in black-figure with two quadrigae at full speed to right, one overlapping the other by about a horse's length.
The charioteers lean forward in their chariot boxes and hold goad and reins.
The artist creates a mix-up with the different teams – the leading horses appear on the foreground while their charioteer is hidden behind the following team.
