The first of these molds depicts a Makara surrounded by floral swirls. It measures 3-1/4" in both height and width. The second shows an animal face or mask and measures 1-3/4" in both height and width. Rubberized impressions included for both.

A group of two authentic deeply formed pottery molds, used to create appliques for larger vessels. The larger of the two measures 4" in length and the interior depth is just under 1". The second measures 3" in length and the interior depth is 1/2". Both molds will come with rubberized molded impressions, as seen in the photos.

This is a large, deeply molded sculpture which would have been used to make appliques for attachment to larger vessels. The piece is 4-5/8" in length and its interior depth is more than 1". It depicts a lotus pod and comes with a rubberized impression. A beautiful piece of sculpture in its own right.

This remarkable artifact is an ancient Greek Mycenaean-type bronze spearhead that dates back to the Bronze Age, circa 1500 B.C. The spearhead showcases a narrow, leaf-shaped blade that was expertly crafted to ensure its sharpness and durability. Moreover, the spearhead features an integral hollow socket designed to accommodate the spear's shaft. The shaft would have been secured to the spearhead using two opposed holes pierced into the socket's lower part for this purpose...

This fascinating artifact is an ancient Greek bronze sword of the Ei or Killian F1 type, dating back to the Bronze Age, circa 1400 B.C.

Its impressive double-edged blade tapers down to a sharp point, making it a formidable weapon in battle. The blade has a short tang that features a rivet hole, which would have been used to attach a handle...

A draped youth strides to the left and holds a sprouting tendril. His hidden left hand rests on the hip and creates a radiating sequence of suspended folds.

Interesting pottery flute in the shape of a bird. Greek dating to c. 600 BC.

The body is very nicely detailed with naturalistic bird features.

Large Attic pelike of the Kerch style decorated with an Arimasp on horseback fighting off two griffins. The Amazon is riding a prancing horse, turns back and raises her sword-wielding arm above the head.
The woman wears a Phrygian cap and is clad in an oriental costume with trousers. Her defeated companion lays on the ground. The griffins with reserved wings.
Three draped youths on the reverse, the leftmost holding a staff. Their cursory style is reminiscent of the Group G(riffin)....

An interesting, small collection of ancient pottery items from a range of cultures, incl. Greece and Rome, 600 BC-200 AD.

The collection consist of:

- a rare pottery sieve restored from several large pieces, Roman 1st.-3rd. century AD
- a large shard of pottery decorated with a high relief face of Appollon, Greek hellenistic period (fragmentary)
- A very large pottery sharp, which is a side of a mega-vessel, decorated with early Greek decoration, probably c. 60...

Attic red-figure askos decorated with a dog and a panther crouching on the domed top. The animals face the spout and are seen with one foreleg raised.
The panther has turned the head towards the viewer and shows a spotted coat.
The shallow vessel shows a low dome-shaped top, the small flaring spout raises obliquely from the shoulder; overarching handle. The flat base reserved with a tiny mold on the edge.

Small squat lekythos decorated in read-figure with the head of Hermes to the right. The winged pilos helmet with dotted feathers; the offset bottom of the helmet spotted.
The head with a short nose, mouth with protruding lower lip, heavy chin. A large mass of hair on the temple. A vegetal ornament in front of the head. Behind a dotted point. A reserved base below.

Attic red-figure askos decorated with a wild goat and a lion on the domed top.
The goat springs to right and is seen with one foreleg raised. On the facing side the body of a lion, in a crouched, ready to jump position. The combination of wild goat and lion is rare.

The head of the lion, the small flaring spout and part of the overarching handle are missing.

Attic squat lekythos of ovoid body decorated with a net motif in black and crème.
The lekythos belongs to the Attic Bulas Group, which manufactured small vases. As a characteristic of the Bulas Group, the net ornament is applied directly on the clay ground.
The rim and the upper portion of the handle are glazed black; the reserved neck with black lines and vertical tongues in applied white.

Black-figure depiction of naked youths with clamydes that cover their shoulders and bystanders clad in cloaks. All figures hold spears.
The scene is framed with ivy garlands on the sides and buds alternating with dots on the marked shoulder. A row of tongues emerge from the ridged junction to the neck.
