This is an ancient bronze short sword from Northwestern Iran. It has a choice, predominantly blue patina mottled with green and red. The lower half of the hilt is basically ovoid in hape with a lappet-flanged area on both broad surfaces. Flanged areas often held inlays of wood or bone but a lappet flange of this type was probably a decoration in and of itself. The upper half of the hilt is also ovoid but with the broad surfaces oriented perpendicular to the lower half...

Very attractive seal of a massive size carved with architecture (temple facade) and bull, 6 small globules. See similar BM Inv. 102416, Collon, First Impressions Kat. 28., dated to the early Jemdet Nasr period.

Highly interesting stone seal carved in an extremely hard jade-like stone (probably nephrite), Anatolia, found at Mersin, c. 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

Archais symethric grit pattern in the base, the seal itself of a monolithic shape that could look like an animal head. This is dated by Oberländer to the Pre-Historic period, but we believe it to be a later seal, due to the shape of the seal and the very hard stone used.

This fantastic ancient weapon is a bronze dagger or spear from Luristan - ancient Northern Iran circa 1200 BC. This piece is heavy and stable. It has a leaf shaped blade with a strong midrib. The tang tapers to a small 90 degree bend.It has a wonderful patina including malachite and azurite encrustations. Interesting amuletic blackstone stamp seal, Eastern Anatolia / Western Mesopotamia, 1st. millenium BC.

The seal was made during the Neo-Assyrian / Achaemenid period of dominance, c. 800-600 BC.

An ancient-medieval bronze bowl of the high tin content 'white bronze' type with engravings Gaznavids, dating to c. 10th-11th. century AD.
