The seal shows a horned animal in a strongly archaic style.

A superb and extra large tanged bronze lance, Ancient Near East, c. mid 2nd. mill. BC. Turkmenistan / Uzbekistan bronze age.

A very impressive and decorative bronze lance with a long, bent tang, massive socket and a broad, leaf-shaped blade with highly profiled midrib.

A beautiful lance that would have been highly efficient on combat.

A scarce and attractive seal dating to the late neolithic period, Halaf, Western Mesopotamia c. 6th. mill. BC.

Finely carved in a black stone with a medium tall handle, and carved with a grit pattern in the base. Finding place given as Amúng Ebene, near Ancient Antioch!

Size: 25 mm x 22 mm. and 10 mm. tall.

A large black serpentine cylinder seal, showing a horseman in infight with a rearing Bull and an eight-pointed star in the fields. Middle-assyrian, 14th - 10th century BC.

The scene is quite rare with the detailed horseman!

Height: close to 40 mm and thick with a diameter of 15 mm. – quite impressive in hand.

Condition: Good Very fine for the type. Couple of small dings to the lower edge but outside the motif. Interestingly, the interior is filled with bronze...

Highly interesting collectors lot of three different types of stamp seals, Anatolia, 3rd.-1st. millenium BC.

The lot includes a scarce 2nd. millenium Hittite type of 4-side stamp with 4 different impressions of humans and plants, a triangular seal with a knob handle and engraved with a floral pattern and lastly, a cone-shaped seal with round base engraved with scriptssigns(?). All carved in black serpentine.

Interesting lot for study.

A superb quality Islamic bowl, Islamic, 12th century A.D. (494 AH – 597 AH).

Pearly white glaze with Sgraffito decoration (relief), pottery bowl with flaring body rising from a short foot. The sides decorated with a beautiful Sgraffito pattern of ovals and center and rim decorated with splashes of brown.

Condition: Superb, fine patina.
