A rare Ancient Near East Bronze short sword or large dagger dating to 1st-2nd mill BC.

Commonly termed Luristani by dealers and collectors.

Fine style weapon with square shoulders and a flat central midrib. As a rare feature, on this short sword the lower part of the hilt is intact, which is seldom seen on this type of bronze age weapon.

Size is 42,7 cm - 16,8 inches.

A nice larger terracotta fertility figure of female form, Bajaur (Indus Valley), c. 3000-2500 BC.

A hollow mould-made Indus Valley red terracotta statuette modelled in a stylised manner with applied facial features of birdlike form. Also with applied arms and beasts on the cone-shaped body.

Lovely bronze battle axe, Ancient Near East, c. 2nd. millenium BC.

Finely made battle axe with a long enforced and narrow blade with a ridge at the top and an elaborately made socket in a zoomorphic shape with a broad decorated backplate.

Condition: Choice Extremely fine, with a lovely deep redish patina with a dusting of green and earthern highlights.

An impressive seal with a finely carved base in an attractive white stone, dating to the late 3rd.- early 2nd. mill. BC.

The seal in the slightly oval gable form, looking much like a scaraboid, and engraved with a strong scene of a horned animal and birds flying.

A very nice and quite interesting cylinder seal in a hard black stone with white inclusions on one side, Late-Assyrian to Neo-Assyrian period, c. 12th. cent.-9th. cent. AD.

A wonderful depiction of a 'Scorpioman' and a 'fishman', both depicted as winged matured men with long beards and pointy hats or helmets. Their lower bodies evolve into a fishtail and a scorpions tail. All within a heering pattern border.

A finely engraved larger stone stamp seal of the hemispheric seal, popular in the Uruk period. The seal in engraved with a pattern that could look like an insect or the head of an insect. Very elaborate.

Size: 26 mm. in diameter and 15 mm...

Incense burner in copper alloy (cast bronze and embossed and cut brass). Oriental work from the 19th century or before. Probably Ottoman but maybe Syrian? The hinge was consolidated by a riveted piece of metal and one of the three feet was replaced as one of the photos shows? The three legs are fixed to the base by a system of finely executed 'butterfly' nuts. The assembly is slightly twisted as can be seen in the photos. Height: 25cm Diameter: 20cm

A nice tanged bronze dagger from the Ancient Near East, Caspian Sea Area, Mid-late Bronze age, 2nd. mill. BC.

Blade with rounded shoulders. Short tang with hole for a rivet to fasten the handle.

An exceptional and rare collection of Carnelian beads, stringed as a Necklace, Asia Near East, ca. 2nd. mill. BC BC.

The necklace strung with a large number of beautiful flat and some fewer hemispheric beads, each very precious and with a larger central hanger. Very colourful and wearable.

Length: ca. 46 cm. in a single row, 23 cm. in a double row.

A fine style amuletic seal, probably 3rd. millenium BC or even older Ubaid, 4th. mill. BC.

The seal is depicting a humanoid figure with his arms stretched out and an animal / Geomethric sun pattern. Top-drilled.

Size: 32 mm. tall and 23 mm. wide.

Condition: Good VF, intact with even light wear and overall nicely preserved.

Early type and with a fine intaglio depicting two figures, clasping hands, perhaps a marriage ring?.

A beautiful larger silver bowl, Sassanian Empire, 300-600 AD.

The Sassanid Dynasty, was the the last native Persian Kingdom to rule Ancient Near East before the Islamic conquest.

An attractive hammered silver bowl, with an scetchy incised animal in the center of the interior and multible concenthric lines around. It looks like a simple bird, but it needs more cleaning to be certain!

Size: ca. 17 cm. wide and 6 cm. tall.

A finely carved and poslished square stamp seal, Anatolian / Levantine, c. 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

Engraved with an archaic style 4-legged animal and probably from the Hittite / Neo-Hittite colonies of the later 2nd. mill. BC. Attractive with elaborately carved handle.

Size: Square, c. 15-16 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine, intact with fine smooth wear and earthern deposits.

Splendid and mottled & veined green stone engraved with a Lion and triangular spearpont-like symbols. Late Gable form

A very attractive pottery bowl, in a rather original state for type with caligraphy, Islamic Samenid Dynasty, ca. 9th.-10th. century.
