A rare and lovely Scaraboid stamp seal in a pink stone, Assyrian, ca. 12th.-10th. century AD.

The shape emulates the Egyptian scarabs from the period, but made in a rare pink hardstone and with a typical later Assyrian stylized design of the seal plate.

Size: 15 mm.

Condition: Superb for type, very hard stone.

The slightly irregular rectangular seal carved with a grit-pattern and with an evolving pierced handle on the back, finely polished.

The seal carved with the great King standing left with weapon and other figures, incl. a winged one.

Condition: Fine and intact, but with several internal fisures and a small chip. Comes with the original hard clay impression from below collection and ID-Card. Aquired to the Oberländer collection in 1991. Rare...

A pair of attractive early European iron keys, with remnants of copper on the larger one, c. 16th. century.

Lot includes a large 14,5 cm. long key with remnants of copper plating and cross cut bit, early 16th. century, perhaps even earlier. The other key with a hearthshaped bow, measuring 10,7 cm. c. 16th. century.

Condition: Very fine, nice metal with a thick and stable iron patina.

A nice and affordable chisel / axe, Danish Neolithic period 3rd. millenium BC.

Though some chisels are made as late as Daggertime just before the bronzeage, this unpolished attractive chisel was likely made during the Singlegrave period, 2800-2400 BC.

Interesting early 16th. century renaissance / Gothic iron key with cut out sluts for a money cheast, c. 1500 AD.

The key with enforced bit with slots, decorated hollow stem with a thick collar and an oval gothic bow.
