Finely made with a slightly trapezoid cross-section and very thick in hard red stoneware. Green glazed with 4 rampant lions on one of them and the other with Fleur de Lis. A large and beautiful green/torquise coloured tanged bronze sword, Ancient Near East dating to the early 1st. mill BC.

Commonly termed 'Luristani' by dealers and collectors.

An elaborate sword blade with shiny light green to torquise patina. Round shoulders and three prominent central midribs forming a lovely pattern running in the full length of the blade, a construction which points to the later manifacturing date of ca. 1100-700 BC.

Bow adornment of a fibula in the shape of an elongated bird.
The animal is shown in alert pose with outstretched head. It shows a pointed beak, donut-like eyes, and a body carved with parallel lines to render the plumage.

With carinated walls, pseudo-caligraphy and symethric decorations in high relief. As typical for the most boldest specimens, the green colours are sort of splashed on.

An extremely rare and important Etruscan offer bowl (omphalos), made in thick terracotta glazed pottery, 400-300 BC.

This shallow terracotta bowl is moulded after bronze vessels and has a dome-like omphalos emerging from its interior. Around the omphalos are deep relief decorations. Very rare in terracotta.

The exterior is finely glazed and the bowl has two holes for hanging, typical for the Etruscan ware.
