This is a fantastic find. It is an early Persian anchor-shaped axe dating to roughly 2200-2000 BC. This piece is stable and solid with only a few losses to the shaft/guard area. This piece weighs 466 grams and measures 12 cm from top to bottom. It is roughly 3 cm thick at the shaft holes. A similar piece in the Axel Guttmann collection sold at auction for over $3000 several years ago. Additional photos available on request. Authenticity is guaranteed.

Here we have an incredible example of an ancient iron sword from Northern Iran, possibly Amlash, circa 900 BCE. It has a saddle-shaped pommel with extensive geometric decor on the hilt. The iron blade, though deteriorated, is still intact. The slender and elegant weapon has survived millennia just to be in your collection. There is a crack near the guard area visible in the photos. A rare bone seal with a finely carved base, Western Mesopotamia, dating to the late 3rd.- early 2nd. mill. BC.

The seal in the oval gable form, looking much like a scaraboid, and engraved with a a pair of goats heads and it's probably made by the Hattites / early Hittite people.

Size: 25 mm. by 22 mm. and 9 mm. tall.

Rare Persian- Islamic black and yellow wound core glass bead . the bead made of black glass and a wound yellow zig zag, condition undamaged and smooth. Size 18-11 mm

This type of bronze weapon is generally designated as a short sword. It has a substantial midrib with tapering edges. The edges are concave in the upper part and gracefully draw into spikes or wings that extend around either side of the tang. Weapons of this type are found in Northwestern Iran and most likely date to around the 9th century BC. “Weapons of this type [are] widely represented in the Ghaletenti I cemetery in Dailiman.” (“Arms and Armor from Iran” by Manouchehr M.
