Glass charm emulating white nephrite Jade inscribed with delicate Arabic verses from the Koran on both sides. This set is in silver with a copper loop to hold on a chord. I bought this in Hong Kong so original provenance is unknown- possibly from the Xinjiang, Turkic Uyghur speaking area. Chinese deep blue peking glass jar with carvings of chimeras crawling along the outside with branches in their mouths, over a crosshatch style background. The lid also has a miniature chimera amidst crosshatch background with a flower shaped finial. Artist's signature on the bottom.

Quirky glass ring emulating agate. This piece came from China but possibly is a trade object. I acquired this in a lot of other ancient pieces. A conservative dating to this is Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and guarantees it to this period. There is one crack as well as some bubble burst pitting on the surface. Outer D: 2.8cm and inner D: 1.9cm.
Late Qing Dynasy (1880s 10 1911) century Chinese Peking glass seal in cylindrical shape. Wonderful simple piece appropriate for a scholar’s table, very pleasant finish to the surface. Transparent glass with the slightest pink tinge. The bottom is carved with two raised characters that can be translated as EASTERN GARDEN, red seal paste in the grooves. Imprint of the seal is shown on Enlargement 1. Height 2 3/8 inches, diameter 1/2 inches.
The glass snuff bottle shows the four sea-dragons swimming in the sea. This probably represent the four seas.Each of the dragon have four claws which represents royalty but not imperial. The colour of the snuff bottle is of dark orange colour. The base has a honorific Qianlong mark to the base. Cir. late 19th century, likely to be dated to the Guangxu (1875-1908) period.

Wonderful Late Qing, Early Republic era Peking glass pink snowstorm snuff bottle with a layer of black, then white, hand carved so that both colors can be seen clearly. The subject matter being fishing with a man and 2 boys, sea life, a boat, trees, birds and of course a big flopping fish. Still has its original stopper, a jet-black polished stone that really sets it off. Perfect condition H 3-1/4" x W 1-1/4" x D 1-1/8"
This is a two colour wufu and coin motif peking glass snuff bottle. The colour of the bat is in light brown colour and the coin is green colour. Wufu means the five fortune. The chinese coin in general means "Tong Bao" or treasure. On both side of the coin, it is inscribed with the character "Tian Xia Tai Ping" which means peace to the world. Cir. late 19th century.

19th century Chinese Peking glass bangle bracelet of classic shape made out of variegated light green glass resembling pale jadeite. Nice color, occasional bubbles inside the material typical for the period. Beautiful patina, overall in excellent condition. Inner diameter 61.2 mm (2.41 inches), outer diameter 3.05 inches. Part of a small Massachusetts collection of Peking glass.
Inside of ring has embedded pipe scale from the glass working process and exterior layer of glass has stress crack with small chip missing...stress crack would also be from glass making process...
but ring has been stable for couple of centuries...ring was bought in South China late 90s along with several other rings (all stone and sold) but this one was so unusual that I kept it ...really is lovely
