18th Century Qianlong period 1736-1795 Chinese Famille Rose porcelain Spoon Rest or spoon tray, 5/8" high, 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" wide, with overglaze enamel design of flowering branches in the center with four(4) separate cartouches in the center, white on white decoration techniques were used between the four(4) cartouches in small areas. The bottom is unglazed. There is a tiny frit smaller than 1/16" wide on the rim, no other damages or restoration.
Chinese 18th Century Export Qianlong period porcelain Peacock design Spoon Rest or spoon tray, later part of 1790, circa 5/8" high, 4 7/8" wide 3 1/4" deep, overglaze Peacock design in the center, iron red line border on the scalloped hexagonal shape rim. The bottom is unglazed. Few kiln imperfections on the rim but no damages or restorations.
Chinese Export Fitzhugh pattern Blue and White Porcelain oval shape covered Vegetable serving Dish with original cover, Ca. 1790-1800, 4 1/2" high, up to the top of the Acorn shape knob, 11 3/4" x 8 5/8" wide. This is early Fitzhugh porcelain with very fine and delicately decorated Chrysanthemums and Peony sprigs in four(4) sections within diapers and spearheads border which is done with very exact and fine brush strokes in underglaze blue. Same design is on the top of the cover...
A Chinese gaming counter, made for the European market in the late 18th century. Mother of pearl, engraved with a star and a flower border to one side, the other with a vase motif. Round, with lobed sides, diameter "1½/ 3,4 cm. Condition: fine.
A Chinese dish, enameled in Imari colours and gold with a fenced garden, peony and the auspicious pak choy plant. First decades of Qianlong (1736-95) or earlier. Diameter "9/ 22,5 cm and height "1½/ 4 cm. Condition: glaze wear, hairline and rim frits, star crack to the back (cf. pictures).
A small lidded jar or bowl, Kangxi period, c 1700. Clobbered in iron red, green, black and gilt over the original under-glaze blue decoration, for the European (Dutch?) market. The base with an “Asian” seal mark in iron red. Height, including lid "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: the lid with some rubbing to the gilt, otherwise fine.

A silver jam jar standing on three ball feet with handle and glass insert. Beautifully decorated with plum blossom and bird in relief. With maker's mark "SF" standing for Sing Fat, who worked in the early 20th century in Canton, a Chinese character mark and "90". Condition: few traces of usage, insert with rim frittings. Dimension: diameter: 9.8 cm, weight: 164 g.
Five chinese blue and white tea cups made for the Japanese market. Grey/white glaze and underglaze cobalt blue of a deep indigo color depicts birds and flowers in a whimsical design. The cups were used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Fretting on the edges. 17th century. Cups measure 5" at lip.

One of the best shiwan (shekwan) sculptures we've ever encountered, this large masterpiece displays the legendary Laozi riding an ox: Laozi means "old master". It is said that he mounted an ox and headed west, before leaving, the border guard asked if he would write down his ideas, which Laozi obliged to do, thus he wrote the Tao-te ching (Book of Changes)...
Although it is smaller than other examples of this genre, this tea caddy packs a big punch with its gorgeous blue and white hand painted Chinese scenery. It depicts both natural scenery as well as different structures such as home and pagoda. The rim of the shoulder is accented with pale gold enamel.
The cannister is constructed of two halves fused together...

Four(4) Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain Plates, Qianlong period 1736-1795, 9" diameter, 1 1/8" high, underglaze blue decoration of landscape design inside Fan in the center within four(4) sets of floral decoration, and sprays of floral and fan shape design spread out on the outer border with thin brown color rim. One(1) chip size of 1/4" x 1/8" under the rim, small bruise on the one of the plate, several frits on the bottom rim.
