Satsuma Miniature Teapot Signed Kozan, Meiji Period (1868-1912)

The teapot is 1.75 inches (4.5 cm) tall by 4.5 inches (11 cm) wide.

It is in good condition with no repairs, or cracks, except rubbing of gold and a chip at the underside of the lid (as seen in the photos).

Offered is an 8.5" bowl decorated in five colors on a greyish white ground, green reverse with Fuku mark. There are many knife cuts on face and a gold lacquer mend on the rim. An old piece well used and treasured.
