A nice pair of authentic antiques, Imperial Nippon Japanese porcelain vases, which were made between 1891 and 1921. They are entirely hand-painted and highlighted in gold, depicting a continuous scenic landscape with two birds. The top of the vases is adorned with a raised jewel pattern.
The vases are marked underneath with "Imperial Nippon, Hand Painted." Please note that the picture of the two vases showing them slightly crooked is an error caused by the camera lenses...

An exquisite slightly fluted porcelain bowl with a dragon parading though tendrils of cloud in raised relief by Mokusen enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 18.3 cm (7 inches) diameter, 9cm tall (3-1/2 inches) tall and in excellent condition. Mokusen was a prolific porcelain artist in Kyoto well known for his tea ware.

Excellently potted japanese porcelain dishes, decorated in underglaze Cobalt blue with a nice landscape scenery. Nabeshima - style, Meiji Period 1868 - 1912 ) Diameter : 20,8 cm. Condition : No crack, but each of the dishes has a small chip which is old repaired in Kintsugi technique ( Japanese Gold Lacquer repair.)
Provenance : Old German collection. ( All in all we do have 4 pieces of the same kind of dishes on offer ( 2 pairs )).

Japanese small and exquisite Satsuma ware censer, unusual double gourd shape with two handles and three feet, lid with delightful fu-dog finial, one side is decorated with two scenes from 100 Rakans (Buddhist saints), the other side is decorated with two scenes of beautiful ladies, everything else is covered with tiny designs in gold, beautiful condition, Taisho Period, 6 character kanji says: Satsuma yaki, Suigetsu ga. (trans: Satsuma Ware painted by Suigetsu).

A good quality Kakiemon type export plate decorated with a pair of Hoo birds on a rock with flowering bushes. The rim of the dish decorated with a “Birdes in Branches” arabesque with a rather crudely painted Chrysanthemum blooms with birds both sitting and with wings out-stretched. This pattern occurs both in Kakiemon type enamels and in this blue and white version. See Fine and Curious no 240, a blue and white teapot, at page 193...

This is Japanese shallow bowl from the great porcelain factory, Fukagawa. It is beautifully decorated throughout with an intense boarder of hand painting and gold work on the scalloped edge. It is in excellent condition. The bowl measures 9 3/4 across and is 2 inches deep.
