This Antique Persian Tribal Kilim was woven by the Qashqai Nomadic Tribal group in Southwestern Persia/Iran. Woven in the late 19th century with amazing all natural colors and in remarkable condition. Both decorative and highly collectible piece. Qashqai rugs typically have designs of diamond shaped medallions. It has various shades of oranges and reds on brown abrash and off-white ground. It measures 12'5" by 4'10".

This Persian jar is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and iron brown and covered inside and out in a thick clear glaze with a blue-green tint. It is potted from a buff colored earthenware that is exposed around the lower portion with the glaze forming a rather thick and uneven curtain above.
