A Japanese Bronze Water dropper Suiteki in the form of a Samurai Helmet. Meiji period c. 1900 measuring 3 1/4 L x 3 W x 2.5 H. in excellent condition nice patina.

Suspended from its original green silk knotted cord, an agate bead leads to this intricate silver metal Chinese toggle. Tiny bells are suspended from either side. Hanging from the center is a small coral bead and a large turquoise bead. The metal is silver color but is assumed to be low grade. measures 3.5 from the 1st bead below the cord knot to the lowest bell. The cord and knot add another 3.5 inches of length

Qing (19th Century) A Blue and white dish with a poems. On the base, there is a mark in double circle. Width = 20 cm Condition : Excellent, no damage or restoration.

Green glaze covering foot rim. Unglaze base with burnt red. Diameter = 11.5 cm Period : 14 th-15 th Century Longquan Kilns, Zhejiang Good condition, a minor fritting on the foot rim, firing crack, no hairlines and free from restoration.

Crackled porcelain charger decorated with a scene depicting phoenix and chrysanthemum in the central field, and, around the cavetto, with flower and interspersed with bamboo motifs. Width = 36 cm Period : Ming Dynasty, late 16th century.Condition : frittings on the rim, no chips, cracks, hairliones and free from restoration.

A 19th century Chinese paktong opium pipe, opium container, tool holders and tweezers en suite with base featuring engraved bird and flower decoration including a dragonfly, butterflies, fruit and (or course) poppy blooms. Attention to detail exhibited with copper-bronze lined rims to tool holders and pipe top. 10 characters (in four cartouches) maker's mark inside hinged opium container cover. Very good condition. Height from surface to pipe stem 10 1/2 inches...

An Indian Kalamkari mat, probably from Coromandel coast, made of slightly padded and quilted chintz. The cotton ground is block-printed and painted with a central medallion surrounded by meandering exotic flowers and crenelation. Lined with printed cotton, indigo dyed fabric edging. Condition: clean, few very small old mends, little small age stains. Dimension: 121 cm x 83 cm.

This handmade pair of Tibetan boots was typically used by the Tibetan Minority groups for centuries. Each regional Tibetan group used its own distinct colored thread design pattern. Monks and officials also could be recognized by the thread design of their boots. These were a "commoners" boot and judging by their size, they were used by a young teenager. I suspect that they were only worn once or twice and they are in wonderful condition. Heel to toe they measure 9" and stand 12" high.

Covered with crackled green celadon to the foot ring, unglazed base. Diameter = 10.2 cm Song Dynasty. Condition : restoration to a small fritting, no cracks or lines.

A beautiful and deeply curved bamboo brush pot holder with a beautiful scene from the story of Lu Pu and the Beauty during the Three Kingdom period in a single cartouche.

It is in good condition. No sign of any cracks or damage.

Boat-shaped silver ingot with stamped Chinese character meaning double happiness. Condition: fine. Dimension: 3.3 cm long, weight: 37 g.

For over 1000 years the Chinese have used Bamboo Shoots for the art of divination, forecasting the future. The shoot are tossed on a table or to the ground. The landing position of the shoots is the determining factor. This pair of divination shoots is over 200 years old.

Song green celadon small dish decorated with incised flower on the center and diamond diaper border on the rim, glazed base. Song Dynasty or earlier. Diameter = 13 cm Condition : very good, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

This is a fine reddish brown piece of bronze censer. It is of bombe shaped standing on three short feet resting on a curved lotus stand. On the underside of the bronzer censer, it bears the Ming dynasty Xuande reign mark but from the Qing dynasty, circa. 18th century. The stand is included with the censer.

A beautifully and well shaped Ming Dynasty (1368-1643A.D) rice bowl with a simple blue splashes of cloud like motives. This piece is retrieved from the sea. The bowl is a common household ware likely to be used for eating rice or drinking water/wine. It is an export ware for the South-East Asian market. It is also likely that this blue bowl can be dated toward the end of the Ming Dynasty - 17th century. The glaze, although is thin and smooth, is still in relatively good conditions...

Transparent cobalt blue glass bowl, 18th / 19th C. Rounded sides and slightly flaring rim, the exterior carved and incised in relief with peonys, bird and taihu rock. The reign mark Qianlong nian zhi is incised in standard script within a bold square on the base. Condition: fine. Dimensions: 16,2 cm diameter x 7,3 cm high. Weight: 538 gram.
