Born in England in 1888, Morley settled in New York and was a sculptor, craftsperson and teacher. She was a member of the Allied Artists of America and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She is listed in Falk, Who Was Who in American Art.

Signed HMM this lovely 3in. across and 2.5in. tall drop shows off 4 gem quality moonstones. The design is solid with detail being hand chased on thick silver. In one pix the camera flash only hits 2 of the moonstones but they all glow with a gorgeous blue. It boasts a 16in. wearable and is much more than pretty, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Chinese carved jade model of a brilliant green chloromelonite jadeite oval plaque, with qilin beneath pine, and verso with phoenix and flowering branch motifs (possibly color enhanced but not tested). A fine Meiji era cloisonne vase with decoration of colorful chidori flying over young bamboo all over an even mauve-violet background. The chidori with black, dark orange, light gray blue, and white details. The bamboo with green and some yellow details. A fine border appears along the rim and the foot. Condition is good. A slight scratch here and a light rub there...

Dark Cognac to Chocolate brown depending on the light, these three slopeback French leather club chairs have fixed cushions. A light, comfortable seat with original leather. Matching the set of sterling cufflinks that are also currently available in my inventory, a Margot de Taxco equestrian brooch in superb repousse with depth enhanced by gorgeous patina and Margot's signature quality in the design's execution. It measures 2 1/4" wide by 1" tall and weighs 12.1 grams. Fully signed with her name, a not so well stamped Eagle mark (should be Eagle 16) as well as with des. no 5160 the brooch dates in the 1950s-60s and is in excellent vintage condition.

Here is a hard-to-find Billiken stick pin! Billiken was patented in 1908 by Florence Pretz, in Kansas City, MO. She designated him “the god of things as they ought to be” – what a fantastic conceit!
