Blood red lips curl back from jagged teeth; the genuine Japanese Hannya-men from traditional Noh drama is carved of wood, signed on back and comes enclosed in a brocade bag and kiri-wood box signed Nakajima Senun. The surface is covered in a hard, gofun like substance with gold eyes and gold horns. It measures 8-1/4 inches (21cm) long and was made to be worn, and would appear to be from the later half of the 20th Century. .

These matching Tobias cuffs were purchased together and have stayed together through time so I am continuing the tradition here with presenting them as a pair. Both pre-1948 cuffs are signed Tobias and are 2 7/8in. tall. Each weigh 76 grams and 79.5 grams respectively. There is a one inch gap and they are sizable. The Repousse is deep and gorgeous producing an effect of dimension that is breathtaking. The fashion statement at the time was to wear cuffs such as these together...

This excellent figure of a Blackamoor is made from black (dark amethyst) and lattimo glass with gold foil and gold powder, red glass accents his turban. The figure stands 10 1/2 inches (27 cm) tall and is 5 1/4 inches (13 cm) wide/deep. The figure shows great detail from the folds in the turban, to his gold accented, black buttoned shirt and his open waist coat. No chips,cracks or repairs. Early American coin silver beaker by Newburyport, Mass. silversmith William Moulton IV. Circa 1800. This cup bears an original presentation inscription, engraved in script, with the name Heber Little. Condition is very good with no repairs. There are a couple of minor dents, the most noticeable being situated near the base of the vessel & aligning with the right hand end and below the name 'Little.' A dynamically painted blue and white vase decorated in Kangxi style with seven fish, a shrimp and a crab against a background of stylized waves. This item was made for export in the Jingdezhen kilns, Jiangxi province during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a large shallow chip to the rim (see enlargements 6 and 9) and also a number of smaller under rim chips; no cracks and no restoration. 16cm (6.3inches) high.
