Description: A bronze daoist deity which known as Bi Xia Yuan Jun was splendidly rendered. By a detailed decoration, the bronze figure was applied with gold paint on the surface. Though in paint, the surface was reflected with enduring patina which was similar to the gilt ones. She was kept with perfect condition including an original cover at the bottom. This large embroidered money belt was used by Miao man for festival. The front face has delicate embroidery which is chain stitched over a black velvet background. The rear is padded and quilted home spun, indigo dyed cotton fabric. There are several areas between the different fabrics which are used as pockets for the storage of possessions. Very good condition, circa 1900-1910. excluding belt loops piece measures 21" across and 13 inches high

A handled cup was in unique marbled glaze.
In shining brownish tint and darken strips, the cup was delicately mold in very thin wall and was intentionally to copy the metal wares of the periods. It was not uncommon for ceramic production of that periods.

This is a charming lobed shaped tea-pot standing on four small individual feet. On one side it has a painting of a pair of sparrow in a blooming lotus pond. On the other side, it has a poem written on it. Circa. early Chinese Republic period 1940s-1950s.

No hairline crack, glaze fritting, damage, repair or restoration. The tea-pot is in good condition.
