Description: One small Jianyang Temmoko bowl was authenticated by all the typical characteristics - the iron grayish body, the typical straight foot rim, the deposits in the pinpoint holes on the body , dry-feel mouth rim, crackled glaze and the foggy water scar left on the glaze. The bottom of the foot ring was uniquely shaped as a flat form. It was a lovely piece with a genuine look from first sight...
Navajo Mark Chee (1914-1981) who was active from the 30's to the 60's, is known for traditional stamp work in thick, heavy silver. This beautiful pair of cuffs is a wonderful example of his expertise with the stamping on each cuff being slightly different. Each cuff measures 4 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening, so for a small wrist. They are each 3/8" wide and their total weight is 86 grams.
They are both hallmarked with the Chee bird...

A C.M. Von Valkenburg Petrolia gold filled pocket watch circa 1900. This 2" across stem-wind pocket watch has a porcelain dial with a single sunk seconds dial and blued hands. It is printed with C.M. VON VALKENBURG PETROLIA (Ontario, Canada) on the face, and the 1-5/8" across works has nice damascening. The works are marked ADJUSTED 2 POSITIONS 17 JEWELS 3876866. We haven't identified the works however the regulator resembles that of Howard or Ball watches...

A child's hand engraved sterling silver hinged bangle bracelet from the 1930s. It measures1-7/8" x 5/8" across the interior, and it is 3/8" wide. It has a safety chain, a box clasp and it is engraved on one half with the engraving continuing on to the edges of the undecorated side. It is stamped STERLING and WRJ (for W.R. Johnson of Toronto) and it weighs 11.4 grams. It is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Large Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Glazed Buddhist Jar
This large and impressive pottery jar was made around the 13th / 14th century, during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Until recent years, this type of jar was almost unknown in the west with some people initially attributing them to the Liao Dynasty (same general period but in the north of China). These jars are now known to have originated from Yunnan province in the south-west of China...
This is EXCEPTIONAL. A Fred Davis design unsigned and with a brooch to match. Both are heavy in weight and tall in stature. Brooch is 2 1/3 in. square. 41 grams heavy. The bracelet is 130 grams and 2.25in. tall. The diameter of the bracelet for fitting is 2.5in. and will fit most. Stupendous...no damage and beautiful natural patina.
Thai Sawankhalok 13th/15th Century Stoneware Bottle (Ex. Grahame Clarke Collection)
This finely-shaped stoneware bottle, with its pear-shaped body and wide flaring mouth, was made during the 13th - 15th Century at one of the Sawankhalok kilns. It is quite "heavily-potted" and coated in a very unusual glaze of a dark greenish-blue colour with a most attractive crackled effect. There are incised bands around the neck. The glaze has run and sagged toward the unglazed lower body...
Signed Los Castillo design # 508 has to be a Margot design while married to Antonio Castillo. A 16in. wearable and a drop of 3.5in. Properly hallmarked as shown and no damage. There is some glare and patina specs while most of the complexion of the silver is dark naturally. 95 grams heavy and 1.25in. at it's widest point. Museum and collector quality, Just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
