Outstanding handmade sterling silver brooch designed and signed (c.1940's) by Taxco, Mexico maestro Hector Aguilar (1905-1986). This grasshopper is 3 inches long and comprised of several segments of carved 990 silver forming the body of this big guy. Pin back and safety lock work perfectly. Water pitcher in Narcissus Spray pattern by Indiana Glass. Pattern was made from 1917 to around 1928. Pressed glass pattern decorated with Red, Green and Gold. Pitcher is 8 1/2 inches (cm) tall, very heavy glass. Minor surface scratches and manufacturing stress marks, but no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1920.

This is an absolutely darling image by Chishima Kayo, which came to us as a silk makuri (never having been mounted) painting, which our restorer placed in this natural field allowing the painting to show itself.

The necklace also has a depth of one inch at it's widest as well. It is shaped on a curve so the wearable is actually the outside rim and not the inside rim which gives it more space. A rare Song - Yuan dynasty longquan celadon big jar with wooden cover, rounded side with globular body and glazed base, jar decorated with flower scroll motif at the body and Buddhist symbols at lower part, there is four Chinese character at each side.

Outstandingly wearable antique garnet earrings. Circa 1900. The metal tests positive for 9KT gold with jeweler's acid. The shepherd's hook backs are
probably replacements and they test positive for 14KT gold. The large oval stones are 7 mm by 5 mm and the round stones are 5 mm in diameter. The
tiny stones are 1 - 2 mm in diameter. Great size -- 2 1/4 inches long and 5/8 inch wide. They weigh 11 grams. Excellent condition...
