A master lapidary, Enrique Ledesma has a magical way of seamlessly marrying silver and stone and the bracelet presented here is one of his signature designs. I am very partial to this early, as evidenced by its design number, Los Castillo necklace because it was the first "big name" Mexican piece I ever acquired year ago. Its intricate knot and bead medallion with the teardrop dangle is so enchanting to look at - the circles and curlicues and spheres seem to be in a constant flux. The same sense of movement is mirrored in the links of the chain as they alternate facing opposite directions - just masterful...

Vintage sterling Margot de Taxco "AM PM" necklace, bracelet, and earrings. Any of these pieces alone are very hard to find but to have a full set is really RARE !!! The links of silver have an oxidized background and the Roman numerals of the necklace and the AM PM letters of the bracelet and earrings are done in high relief. Most spectacular is the heavy three dimensional hourglass charm hanging from the bracelet. Many times, if one can find the bracelet, the hourglass is missing so to have th...
