Stunningly beautiful 940 sterling silver necklace designed and signed in the 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar. The necklace measures 16 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches at it's widest. These handmade lacy drop earrings are composed of sterling silver wires shaped into rosettes, with bead centers. The earrings test strongly for sterling, and have been converted from screw backs to posts. They have at the same time a delicate design and a strong presence. Marcel Boucher trained and worked at Cartier in the Paris, France shop. He left for Taxco to be among some of the most creative thinkers in artistry at the time. Antonio Pineda's chain necklace with the orb clasp is heavy at 135 grams and 17in. long. It is over a half inch wide at 9/16th's.
