Two Tibetan bone carvings of dancing Dakinis from a ceremonial bone apron. One Dakini carries a chopper, kapala (skull cup) and a skull scepter; the other holds a kapala in her left hand. Both have large scrolling swirls carved above and below them. The backs have numerous holes for stringing. The bone is probably from a Yak. Period: 18th/19th Century. Size: 16cm & 17cm. W. Both 4cm. Description: A museum piece indeed as this tripod ceramic inkstone was recovered rarely in a unique form and was in perfect condition with original cover. On the top, a water basin which was in a shape of a crouching toad was capped as a knob. By excellent incising and molding work, the toad was vividly rendered. In a firm and sturdy condition, the inkstone was glazed with characteristic grayish green and yellowish slip and was supported by three stout bears...

Description:

An old stone box was beautifully carved on the cover with a five-clawed swirling Dragon and with cloud pattern at the basin.
By a well rendered craftsmanship, the covered box was in a magnificent mood by its astonishing image.
Kept in perfect condition and darken patina, there’re only minor defects found at the whiskeys and at one of the corners of the cover.

Description:

An ancient bronze seal was inscribed with characters on the stamping surface.
The characters was from ancient people but is unknown to us now.
From the metal quality, the old patina on the surface and the characteristic of the knob on top, and also the type of the word, we can define it as from Yuan periods or earlier.

IT WAS AN INTERESTING PIECE THAT CAN STILL BE USED NOW AS A PRIVATE SEAL WITH PERSONAL TASTE .

Set on a domed floriform base with bulbous mid section incised with flowerheads, the flaring cup cast with bands of petals with beaded rims. H. 13,5 cm.

Description:

A Yaozhou incense burner or XinLu was intriguingly squeezed with five feet.
In saucer form, the body was decorated with carved motifs on the surface of the rim.
It was preserved in very good condition by nice glaze when sandy-tinted incursion were happened in portions.
One broken foot was caused during burial.
A nice restoration may do it's justice. But I would rather to leave it the buyer to decide...

Description: A small inkstone was carved in different cliff style. On the pool side, the cloud pattern was carved fluently. A small scholar item especially an inkstone was hard to find. It could be a practical utensil and also a small art piece which could be viewed from different angles around your palms. Date: 19th Century. Length:7.8cm Width:6cm Height: 4.5cm Condition: Kept with original Hon-Mu stand when lost of upper cover. A crack line was seen due to age.

Description:

A peach-bloom glazed water basin was in nice shape.
Well glazed in gradient tints, the basin was revealed with finely-grained body clay at the foot ring when darken firing effects was resulted within.
It was used for some time. Crackled wires were yielded inside the basin.

A black-glazed Cizhou tea bowl was uniquely decorated on the surface with vertical creamy-white ribs.
By a striking image, the tea bowl was mold in a flatten shape which was elegant and was full of the mood of Zen spirits.

The typical dark-brownish almost black glaze and the light gray-tinted body clay at the base are typical of this type of ware. Stardust-like incursions are evident throughout the glaze...

Description: A charming ivory piece was crackled all over the surface due to long time of age. Enduring about 300 to 400 years, this ivory piece was supposedly used as a hair arrange utensil for women or men. Playing around the fingers, this charming piece is so attractive in old ivory tissues and in warm brownish patina. The patina is a bit of darker in real than in the pictures. Description: An unique tea caddy like this piece was made with an extraordinary wood trunk which is in a scholar rock's shape and was framed with pewter. It is a display piece as well as a tea holder. Date: Qing Dynasty (19th Century) Height: 14cm Condition: good with original lid when some glue work had been done to the pewter cap for restoration.

The front of this Tibetan wooden snuff bottle is covered with silver repousse ornamentation. The back is surface is also silver.

Description:

A Ding-Typed porcelain censer was applied with darken brownish nearing black glaze.
Well crackled, the glaze was reflected retrospective sheen for verifying the enduring age.
By shallow profile and stand with three nicely mold feet, the censer was added with two arched loops on the mouth rim.
The paste revealed inside the censer and under the bottom was in light-buff tint and was in soft –feel quality.
A dimpled glaze condition was on the side...

Chinese heavily potted late Qing dynasty Shiwan (Shekwan) earthenware globular form bud vase with small cylindrical mouth covered overall with a thick, Song dynasty style Jun-type glaze that stops well above the concave base. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. 4 ½” high x 4 ½” diameter. Very good overall condition. There is a light scratch or production flaw in the body at the base (see enlargements 4 and 8)...

Description:

A black-glazed Zadou was mold in decent form.
In nice proportion, the ware was stand on a foot ring which revealed with beige-tinted body clay.
The glaze on the surface was in greasy feel and was yielded with charming wrinkled results due to age.

Other decoration throughout including large stylized sanskrit, small sanskrit labeling figures and narrating devices and the whole, and various tantric symbols...

Description: An ivory toggle was in beautiful patina. The honey-brown coloured surface was spread with numerous crack lines which was due to hundreds of years of enduring age. Date: Ming Dynasty (15-16th century) Length: 5.2cm Width: 3.3cm Depth: 0.8cm.

Description: A nephrite jade pendant was carved as a tiger’s head. By a grayish tint, the jade piece was revealed with blackish incursions along the stone tissues and accompanied with ice crackles. They were all resulted from long time of burial. In adequate size, the jade piece was an ideal accessory in the past and in nowadays as well. Date: Ming Dynasty(15 Century), Dimensions: 3.8cm x 2.6cm x 1.2cm

A pair of mythical animals (mother and child) of a creamy jade color. It has small areas of natural brown, light orange and grey coloration and inclusions. The jade is beautifully carved and feels lovely to the touch. The curled tail of the smaller animal forms a round hole which enables a thin rope to be put through it. Absolutely endearing. Two panels from a multipart Chinese ink and color on silk painting after Ding Yunpeng (active 1584-1638). The first Signed “Nanyu Ding Yunpeng” and with two red seals. Measures 94.5”V (85.5”V excluding mounting) x just under 23”H. 19th century or earlier. Very good overall condition. Description:

A decent wood stand was well structured by precious Zitan and burl wood.
Framed by a unique species of Da-Yei Zitan, and panelled with burl wood board in the center, the wood stand was reinforced in the underside with lacquered cotton cloth.
Strong and sound, the wood stand was yielded on the surface with darken patina.

Date: late 19th century.

Description:

A Longquan celadon stem cup was in purely light-green tint.
Being decorated on the surface and in the cavetto with carved motifs, the stem cup was well mold in decent shape.
Somehow tilted due to manual pottering, which was not unusual as we may expect from an old production
