A decent wood stand was well structured by precious Zitan and burl wood.
Framed by a unique species of Da-Yei Zitan, and panelled with burl wood board in the center, the wood stand was reinforced in the underside with lacquered cotton cloth.
Strong and sound, the wood stand was yielded on the surface with darken patina.

This strand of malachite Tibetan Prayer beads has been somewhat dulled with time and use, but the color patterns of the beads are still clear and beautiful. The coral counter beads are a bit lighter color than appears in the photo. I am dating them conservatively as pre 1950 but it is possible that they actually are from the later Qing dynasty.
