This superb large and extremely rare stoneware bowl was made during the 13th - 15th Century. It is "heavily-potted", coated in a white slip and decorated in underglaze iron, the design very similar to a smaller Vietnamese underglazed bowl we have from this period. The jade drops are a Spanish Colonial design that is mostly seen with enormous pendants. This one has smaller pendants that are 2.5in. x 1.5in for the largest one and the others are 1.5in. x 1 1/8in. making it very wearable with your wardrobe choices.
