English novelty, figural horseshoe shaped inkstand by James Dixon and Son of Sheffield, fashioned in silverplate (EPNS) with a removable glass inkwell. 19th century. A wonderful desk accessory for the equestrian collector. Excellent original condition, with no chips, dents, cracks or restoration. Size: 4 7/8" wide x 5" deep x 2" high.

Chinese export porcelain bowl circa 1790 a beautiful example with hand painted floral sprays and a scalloped decorated rim. Measuring approx. 9 1/4 inches in diameter and 4 inches deep in excellent antique condition for a piece of its age with a couple of barely visible faint hairline stress cracks in the outside glaze probably from cooling in manufacturing and one minute flea bite on the outside rim (see pictures). A fine piece would be a nice addition to any collection.

Sterling Tea Pot Hester Bateman London 1780 A beautiful Georgian silver teapot by Hester Bateman Of oval form with beaded rims and the sides and shoulder and lid decorated with bright cut and wheelwork decorations. The front side with a period monogram centered in a continious ribbon tied floral swag and drape garland. A Meissen or Dresden Style Porcelain Table Mirror, with A Cherub and Florals. Possibly by Sitzendorf. Circa 1870. Dimensions 9.75" high x 7" wide. Excellent Condition.

Of gilt bronze, this fine snuff box is likely a master or table snuff box, as its dimensions are larger than one usually carried in a pocket. It measures 3 1/16" x 2 3/8" across the lid, and is 1 1/2" high. The base is slightly smaller, as the lid overlaps and fits tightly on the base. The scene on top depicts a man seated in a chair, surrounded by others, including a man in Chinese clothing. It appears that the man in the chair has his arm over a keg, and seems to be a bit tipsy...

Antique Wedgwood dark blue Jasper ware dip jug, England, c.1900., with classical scenes in relief of Diana and other figures making offerings, and with festooned decoration round the rim. Size: 6.25" ht. x 6" diameter x 7.5" over handle/spout. Condition is very good, with no loss to relief decoration, or repairs, only with some staining to the bottom of the jug and with a manufacturer's firing crack at the top handle join. See photo details. Impressed "Wedgwood England" marks under base.

This sterling "nanny" rattle is hallmarked "Birmingham 1916" and decorated with "Pied Piper. It was worn by the "Nanny" for baby to play with while being held.

A Gorham Sterling Silver Tea Caddy from 1896. Made for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. It is 5" high by 4.5" wide, and weighs 7.0 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on the front, and the condition is excellent.

A Heavy Georgian Silver Tripod Legs Salver or Waiter with a Gadrooned Border; George III, London 1816 by William Bateman (grandson of Hester Bateman). Dimensions 9.5" diameter x 1.5" high; weight 22.8 Troy ounces. Very good condition.

A Three Piece George V Silver Tea Set with a heavily chased design. The teapot is 5.5" high x 9.5" wide and weighs 11.1 Troy ounces; the sugar is 3.5" high x 5.5" wide and weighs 5.5 Troy ounces; the creamer is 3.25" wide x 4.75" wide and weighs 2.8 Troy ounces. Both the sugar and creamer have a gold washed interior. The hallmark is embedded in the design and is difficult to see, but it is marked Y & W (possibly Yapp and Woodward)and assayed in London in 1934.

Rare and Exquisite Chinese hand carved and polychrome (painted) Buddha or Kwan-Yin statue c.1840. Carved with the most graceful details from one large piece of wood this epic Temple piece stands an impressive 40 inches tall. In good antique condition some worm damage on the back and base paint and color losses overall. Compartments once sealed in the back now opened were used to store blessed objects such as seeds pearls prayers for the returned grace and blessing of the statue...

Japanese Banko pottery art tea pot with beautiful enameled designs of cranes. Featuring a complex form with figured bamboo handle and a internal tea strainer impressed mark on bottom. Measuring approx. 6.5 inches tall from bottom to top of handle this piece is in excellent condition.

Banko pottery wares have been produced since the nineteenth century both for the domestic market and for export. Banko ware comes usually as teapots and has charming designs of a peculiar style...
