Wonderful champagne ice bucket, or "seau" circa 1950's/60's, from France. To advertise their product, champagne houses would give these buckets to restaurants as a point of sale item, they were not sold. This bucket was never circulated - it is NOS (new old stock). Marked "Montebello" in enamel, "Champange" & "Chateau de Mareuil s/Ay." Nice rolled handles. Chrome over brass; measures 8" tall 7-3/4" across.

A beautiful unsigned handkerchief vase attributed to Aureliano Toso. This is a flat rimmed vase of latticino and zanfirico canes constructed of lattimo, clear and adventurine glass rods. Piero Fornasetti porcelian dish of the advertising poster for Arturo Toscanini's Concert at La Scala. The dish is gold trimmed and measures 5.25 inches (13 cm) wide and is 8.5 inches (22 cm) and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in height. There is some wear to the gold trim but there are no chips, cracks or repairs. This is an original Fornasetti not a later Rosenthal re-issue. Marked on back with Fornasetti Logo, FORNASETTI-MILANO/MADE IN ITALY, followed by a small gold letter "P". Circa 1951

A rare art deco shallow bowl by the designer Wilhelm Kage (1889-1960) who trained under Henri Matisse. This item was probably produced during the 1940s as part of the "Argenta" range by Gustavsberg, Sweden. Condition -there is surface wear to the silver overlay and there is a chip next to one of the handles and associated light hairline (please see enlargements 6 and 7). 23.5cm (9.25 inches)diameter.
