Hector Aguilar designed and signed this early set of 3 handwrought copper and brass ashtrays in Taxco, Mexico in the early 1940's. Each measures 4 1/2 inches across and is 1 inch high. All 3 ashtrays are in excellent condition with no dents or dings. All have original unpolished patina. Each piece signed on the underside HA TAXCO MEXICO.

Exceptional quality and large size, this carved marble lamb measures 5 7/8" high, with a base of 8 1/4" x 5 1/8". It is substantial, weighing 9 pounds and 12 ounces.
The detailing of the lamb's fur, face and overall form is excellent, with a nicely beveled base.
In very good condition, with expected surface wear and ears all intact, which is rare. It has some dirt and light staining, and we have not cleaned the surface nor removed any of the residue from recessed areas.
