Rare carriage clock by the Vermont Clock Co., Fair Haven, VT. Brass case with beveled glass panels on all sides and carrying handle. 8-day movement with engine turned, decorated steel back plate. Rectangular porcelain dial with Roman numerals in black and minute divisions. Condition: excellent running condition; minor chip to porcelain at top left corner of dial (barely noticeable when viewed from the front view). Size: 6 inches ht. with handle extended x 3 inches wide x 2 5/8 inches deep.

Offered is an absolutely wonderful example of a New York City physician's traveling medicine case from the early 1900s. This choice case is embossed on the inside flap "FRANK CLYDE LEAVITT, MD - 714 WEST 181 ST., - NEW YORK CITY".

The case contains a total of 53 medicines, all of which are empty. Two of the vials are rather scarce Parke Davis examples: #359, CHORODYNE containing INDIAN CANNABIS and MORPHINE HYDROCHLORIDE, and a second vial labeled #454 NEURALGIC INDIAN CANNABIS...

Vintage steel frame NAUTICAL DISTANCE INSTRUMENT made in GERMANY mid twentieth century used to measure Nautical Miles, Statute Miles, Kilometers, one inch to one mile on maps, having English on one side. The other side in French Inches to Miles or Versies, Centimeters to Kilometers, rotating disc at base corresponds to movable needle, measuring distance on maps. Offered for sale is a 19th century, medium-sized, apothecary pharmacy bottle sporting “PULV. CANEL. ALB.” on the label under glass label!

The 8.25 inch tall bottle is marked on the base, “WN WALTON PAT. SEP 23 1862”, and is of early blown glass construction. The fancy, recessed applied label is complete and is in very nice condition. The stopper is of ground glass construction and is in very good order as well.

The inside of the bottle is 1/3 full of a light brown powder...

An Edwardian 14K white and yellow gold rod link watch chain from the 1910 1920 era. It measures 13-1/2" long, the links alternate from elongated diamond shaped in yellow gold with rectangular lined white gold links and it has a swivel and springring clasp. Offered is a very scarce Mckesson and Robbins one pound bulk stock raw drug used in manufacturing medicinal ointments, cosmetic creams and pomades. Marked "U.S.P.", the fate of this block of SPERMACETI was most likely intended for health related products. The label states: "for manufacturing purposes only" and seems too pure for making candles.

The age of the very neat piece is from the late 1800s to early 19th century...

This clock is housed in an ebonized case with architectural details and with gilt brass molding to the inset front panels, pierced brass fish scale side panels with silk backing, a round 5" convex white porcelain dial with painted Roman numerals and with the name "LEONARD Church St. CAMBERWELL"; and is supported on 4 brass ball feet...

This wonderful pharmacy prescription scale dating to the early 1900s is in very nice condition! The scale box is finely constructed of oak and the balance beam scale comes with 5 small brass weights. The weighing mechanism works like new, in fact, there is not much wear apparent indicating minimal use and loving care over the years.

The oak case measures 11.75"L x 5.5"W and has a rich warm patina with very minor staining to the top. Displays wonderfully!
