Bowl decorated with two deer in landscape in the center and chrysantemum scroll on the inner wall. A chrysantemum and classic sroll on the outside and lotus petal to footrim. Late Ming H=15 cm D= 7 cm Condition : bowl is repainted and an unvisible very short hairline.

Cracle ware bowl, this is the famous "iron wire and golden thread" effect. Glazed base. Qing Dynasty : 19th Century Diameter 19 cm. Condition : very good with no chips, cracks or restorations, fault firing on the base.

A Japanese wood and lacquer zushi travel shrine, depicting Amida Nyorai before a delicately painted lotus pond. He is sitting on a lotus pedestal, his priest garment is decorated with gold lacquer, the sections of skin are left undecorated,. Behind his head a circular metal halo. On the inside of the doors, painted on paper, the left leaf with the patriarch Shandao declaiming Buddhist prayers, the right leaf with the founder of the Jodo-shu sect, named Honen Shonin or Enko Daishi...

A elegant lacquerware for monastery use. Made in Kyaukka, in the lower Chindwin District in Burma, made from woven matting and coiled bamboo and lacquered in black and red. This piece has six sections. These original Kyaukka pieces are difficult to come by. Size: H. 38cm. W. 38cm. Condition: No repairs. Very good condition.
