Bowl decorated with continus floral scroll on the exterior, glazed base. PERIOD : Middle Ming (16th Century) MEASUREMENTS: 7 cm tall, 14.5 cm wide. CONDITION: very good, a tiny frting to the rim, no cracks, no hairlines and free from restorations.

Qingbai double gourd ewer with stylized dragon handle; bluish white glaze stopping above the base which is concave and unglazed. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th Centuries. Height = 12 cm, Width=11 cm. Condition : handle and spout restored.

Description: A QingBai dog was in perfect condition. Excavation deposits was left at the drilling holes and at the unglazed bottoms of foot. Date: Song Dynasty (12th Century) Length: 5cm Height: 4.5cm Condition: perfect.

Chinese mid-Qing dynasty Qianlong period Dehua kiln deep plate decorated in underglaze blue on a bluish-white porcelain ground with the “phoenix flying among peonies” motif. A band of stylized leaves encircles the back rim. An unidentified rectangular underglaze blue mark is on the base. The top of the foot rim is unglazed. 10 3/4” diameter x 2 3/8” high. Late 18th century. The dish is in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks...

A fine Qing Dynasty, Tongzhi period (1861-1875) bowl with a unique shape and vivid colors inside and out. Artistic and finely distinct embossed painted design on the exterior of the bowl.

Early Showa period Japanese silk woman's formal kimono with embroidered highlights decorated on the bottom of the front with two prominent phoenix birds flying among feathery fans. The clusters of fans and the ends of the long phoenix tails extend around to the back side. The fan motif continues on the front and back of the long sleeves. Five family mon (crests) are at the shoulder area. The lining is mixed red and white silk. Circa 1930s...

This sleeve panel is made with light green silk fabric. It is decorated with floral designs in satin stitched blue silk thread with butterflies high-lighted with white,green and purple thread. Condition is very good. Each sleeve measures 3.5" X 30 inches Embroidered section measures 3" x 20"

Japanese Meiji carved bamboo okimono figure of a standing Daruma (also known as Bodhidharma), the body wrapped in a draped robe covered in folds. A fly whisk emerges from the hidden folded arms and extends along the side of the head between one of the elongated earlobes with hoop earring and the furrowed brow. 8 3/4" high. Very good overall condition with typical minor wear. There are a few short cracks and one small chip at the base. From the Phoenix estate of a former Daruma collector.

Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish - Phoenix

This blue & white "Swatow" (or "Zhangzhou") porcelain dish was made during the Wanli Reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. It is coated in a thick glaze and decorated in underglaze blue. The pattern features a standing phoenix surrounded by foliage and blossoms which include the peony and bamboo, the phoenix symbolising peace and prosperity, the peony riches, love, affection and beauty and the bamboo longevity...

Japanese Meiji Cast Iron Tetsubin with Signature - Hailstone Pattern

The cast iron tetsubin (teapot / kettle) is of course the central feature of the tea ceremony. This example was made during the Meiji period (1868 - 1912) or possibly a little later, the pattern to the upper part of the kettle known as the hailstone or nail head pattern. It has a copper cover that is a perfect fit. There is a signature to the right of the spout and there also appear to be seal marks to the base...

Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Kraak Porcelain Dish (20.5cm / 8")

This highly decorative and attractive "Kraak" porcelain dish was made at the Jingdezhen kilns during the Wanli reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. The pattern, in underglaze blue of good colour, features in its centre a winged insect amongst various plants and blossoms. Surrounding this are eight roundels containing, alternately, peach blossoms and precious objects...

Dating to the 19th century, or late Qing, this Rose Medallion platter was made for the export market and features the traditional images of maidens, birds, flowers, and foliage, in six vignettes separated by green and rose foliate designs, highlighted with gold. The enamel decoration is in high relief, with good detail. The platter measures 14 3/4" x 12" and is 1 7/8" deep, and is nice heavy porcelain...

This porcelain bowl was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) at one of the Dehua kilns in Fujian province. The underside is decorated with a carved lotus petal design.
