A blue & white bowl, with thinly potted and foliated lip rim, decorated with typical Kraak style motif in panels featuring bamboo scroll, bird and flowers scroll around the body. Inside the cavetto with hanging dots motif and the center with a bird within double circle. Ming dynasty 17th century, Wanli period. Condition: the bowl is damaged and split into two pieces and restored. Diameter: 14.5 cm and High: 9.5 cm.

Magnificent Chinese carved wood and polychrome figure of the Immortal Sage of Longevity. Finely detailed carving with painted enamel polychrome colors applied throughout probably from the first part of the 20th century. Measuring approx. 14.5 inches tall in excellent condition a fine addition to any collection.

A very Large translucent pale blue-green glass earring from Southeast Asia, probably from Vietnam or Cambodia.The glass is in the form of a thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. There is some soil encrustation on the ends from being buried. Size: Diameter 8cm. Condition: Perfect.

A nice pair of Ching dynasty b/w dishes, decorated each in the center with birds on the peach tree within double circle. Underside with blossoms of chrysanthemum and peach. "Da Ming Cheng Hua Nien Zhe" six characters mark on the base, but Ching dynasty 18th century Yongzheng period. Condition one with hairline, the other is perfect, free from any restoration. This is a genuine theater puppet kashira representing the character Osome. It is not a souvenir. As you can see it is quite clean, however there are three faint vertical cracks in the gofun covering, beside the nose and up the right cheek. The gofun is stable. She wears her hair in an immaculate coiffure held with one unpretentious comb and a ribbon of chirimen silk. Two silver ornaments accent the very simple and attractive figure...

A beautiful Chinese export porcelain famille rose medallion large center bowl circa 1900. The bowl hand painted with traditional rose medallion motif of floral and butterfly designs plus mandarin figures and court scenes. Measuring 12 inches by 4 inches deep in excellent condition one minor restored flea bite to rim and some wear to enamel. A fine example.

Japanese Satsuma pottery vase with cobalt blue background and beautifully hand painted with the finest detailed images of flowering branches and nesting birds. Artist signed on bottom in excellent condition measuring approx. 5 in. tall 4 in. wide or 13 x 11 cm. An exquisite example of this sought after art form.

Japanese mixed metal bronze censer with gold silver and brass inlaid details of a rooster and hen with chick and a blossoming flower motif. In excellent condition no damage some slight variations in bronze patina. Measures approximately 7 inches tall or 18 cm. a fine form with tripod feet. This is beautiful example of Japanese Meiji period metal work.

Chinese Imperial yellow porcelain censer with frogs on lid and elephant handles. The pierced lid setting on a rounded form bowl on tripod legs impressed mark Daoguang period 1821-1850. In excellent condition no damage a fine addition to any collection.

Two b/w miniature vase, the baluster body of octagonal section, the first one painted on four vertical facet with scroll design, the second with floral spray around the body, each attached with a pair ring handles. Flat unglazed base. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). Both in perfect condition, no chip and no any cracks, free from restoration as well. High: 5.5 cm and 5.4 cm.

A lucky jade carved in the form of a lock. The front carved with a large peony and the back carved with the words for prosperity, good luck etc. Should be worn as a good luck pendent. Size: W. 5.8cm. H. 4cm. Condition. Perfect

This handmade pair of Tibetan boots was typically used by the Tibetan Minority groups for centuries. Each regional Tibetan group used its own distinct colored thread design pattern. Monks and officials also could be recognized by the thread design of their boots. These were a "commoners" boot and judging by their size, they were used by a young teenager. I suspect that they were only worn once or twice and they are in wonderful condition. Heel to toe they measure 9" and stand 12" high.

The bone beads are drum-shaped and inlaid with bits of coral and turquoise. Additional discs of metal are sometimes sandwiched between the bone beads. Prayer beads were hand held strands used for counting mantras during prayer. This strand is long enough to slip over the head easily and it makes a beautiful necklace. This is a wonderful old mala and it is in very good condition

A b/w bowl, with foliated lip rim and inside the center with a fruit blossom within double circle, encircled by classic scroll on the inner rim, at the exterior divided into eight panels and each decorated with precious emblem supported by lotus. Ming dynasty 16th century. Condition with one hairline visible on enlargement 9, no chips and free from any restoration. Diameter: 18.3 cm and High: 8.6 cm.

Description: One Temmoko tea bowl of Song dynasty was authenticated as a Jian kiln piece. Kept with beautiful glaze condition, the clay revealed at the foot rim yielded it's black purplish tint which justify it's origin. In typical everted shape, one crack line penetrated on the upper part of cavetto and some touch-ups were made to the glaze surface. Date: Song Dynasty(AD 12th Century) Width: 12.6cm Height: 4.8cm

A finely white glaze dish, with good potted and well balance, covered overall with a rich milky white glaze. Ming dynasty 15th century, possibly Xuande period. Condition is perfect, no any cracks and no chips, free from restoration. Diameter: 21 cm.

A nice jade "bi" disk carved in the Han Dynasty style with dots and "c" scrolls. Color is a transparent light pale celadon. It shows up darker in the photos. Age:Late Ming. Size: Diameter.5.3cm. Condition. Some minor chips on the rim.

Description: One celadon censer on three feet was from Longquan kiln Zhejiang of Yuan Dynasty. Crackled beautifully under introspective gloss of the glaze, patterns of Eight Diagram were decorated around the outer wall. When the steep circular foot rim was molded to support the censer, three suspended feet were used only as decoration with which was a typical Yuan ware's characteristic. Date: Yuan Dynasty, 13th century. Width: 7.7cm Height: 4.8cm

Description: A lovely blue and white plant pot was in unique hexagon shape. Painted with typical Chinese rural scenery, this small plant pot was kept in very good condition only with one almost invisible faint hairline on the rim. Date: Qing Dynasty, Late 19th Century. Width:10.9cm Height:4.5cm

Provenance about waves pattern: No any similar example b/w dish of this design appears to be recorded. Compare also several dishes of a similar size with incised designs in white on a underglazed blue wave background, but all have been the single incised Dragon with waves background. There are three large dishes in the Ardebil Shrine-Iran collection with diameter: 34.5cm/38.5cm/40cm, another is in Shanghai Museum 40.7cm in diameter...

A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. It probably had a lid. Age: 18th century. Size: H. 7cm. W. 11.7cm. Condition. No repairs. Some old minor chips on the rims.

A large Amber glass Mizusashi enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Mizu Utsuwa by Japans top-rated female glass artists, Iwata Itoko. It has a black lacquered wooden lid typical of mizusashi, but a tremendous convoluted form in rich amber which defies simple description. Itoko is one of the top rated glass artists in Japan, and heir to the legacy of Iwata Hisatoshi. The piece is roughly 1 foot (39 cm) in diameter...

Inside with a blossom of flower within double circle, also with five Indian Lotus surrounded to the wall cavetto and finished with diaper pattern around the inner rim. Ming dynasty 15th century late Thianshun to early Chenghua period...

Japanese mokko shaped iron sword guard with design of skull and bones in silver relief. Pine branches carved in low relief. Condition: good. Dimensions: 5,6 cm high x 4,7 cm wide.

Chinese crackle glazed robins egg blue vase 19th century. A beautiful tall slender form with long neck in excellent condition a minor chip on the bottom under the foot. Measuring approx. 14 inches tall a fine example.

Japanese Fukagawa Imari porcelain floral vase signed on bottom. A beautifully hand painted and colorful large example measuring approx. 12.5 inches by 9 1/4 inches wide in excellent condition no damage.

 

Horn bullet container from the Batak people, Sumatra, Indonesia. With stylized face and delicate ornamental carving. Containing two lead bullets. Fringe on top of its head and attached leather strap. Condition: One stress line (marked on pic) and one scratch, slight wear. Very nice patina. Dimensions: 20 cm long.
