A rare late Ming dynasty small Kendi with fine potted and lovely size, decorated with brown glaze and white slip of Prunus to the shoulder and fluted sides to body. Dating 16th-7th century, probably Swatow or Dehua wares. Condition is good, only has re-touched to tiny chip to spout and nothing touch to one tiny flake chip to rim. High: 11.2cm. A misshapen bowl excavated and assembled from several pieces using the kintsugi gold technique. Originally a kiln flaw, it was likely destroyed after creation, later to be excavated and assembled as was popular in the later Edo period. Misshapen,and with a large kutsuki on one side, it is 4 x 5 x 3 inches (10 x 12.5 x 8 cm) and comes in a wooden box.

Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish (with Mark)

This impressive porcelain dish dates to c.1540 - 1620, from the late Jiajing reign to the Wanli reign. It has a foliated rim and is decorated in underglaze blue of good colour. The central decoration features a flower blossom surrounded by four be-ribboned Buddhistic lion-dogs. Description:

A charming white jade belt hook was exquisitely carved in dragon's head shape.
By the precious Hertien pebble quality, the jade piece was reflected with fine greasy-feel sheen on the surface.
Characteristic old jade's tissues were revealed under the reflection when some incursions were occurred to the material verifying its authenticity.

A nice example of middle Ming ware, decorated to interior center with a pair lion Fu dogs among flower scrolls, plain on cavetto side and encircled by diaper pattern to inner rim. The underside with Ruyi/Fungus scrolls. Fu Quei Jia Zhi four character mark on base. Ming dynasty 16th century Zhengde phase. Condition with with restoration to small D shape out from rim, re-glued then restored, further in good condition without any missing pieces, no chip and no other crack as well. Diameter: 18.5cm.

A fine drawing of b/w dish, decorated with a winged dragon to the center among clouds scroll within double circle, fruit and butterflies to the wall cavetto. The exterior with five flower medallions and four character mark of 'Jang Ming Fu Kuei' in coin shape to base. Condition restored a small missing piece to rim and cover a hairline, no problem further. Middle Ming 16th century Jiajing-Wanli period. Diameter: 19cm.

Lovely group of 3 Mingqi pottery figures, partly glazed in green and painted with black, red and yellow pigments. Detacheable heads and hands. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The dating of this group is consistent with the results of TL-test no. 05231113 by Laboratory Ralf Kotalla. H. 29 cm. Nice burial condition with expected age wear. Description: One ancient Tibet bronze Tara Buddha was preserved in a fine condition except some restoration to the covered bottom. By a greasy darken patina, the Tara was casted with serene facial features and stylized sitting posture. Date: 14th/15th Century, Height: 12.1cm, Width: 9.1cm.

A 16th to 17th century (Momoyama to early Edo period) candle-stick of vine or root set onto a hollow carved base and covered in black and red lacquer with a metal stud and drip pan. It is 11 inches (28 cm) tall and in overall fine condition, with wear typical of centuries of use.

Description: A lovely celadon Longquan jarlet was excavated intact. By an interesting lotus-leaf cover, the small pot was applied on the surface with dark olive-green glaze. In a perfect condition except one minor imperfection of shrinking-glaze on the body, some foggy-look condition was obvious in the glaze. It was a characteristic for excavation pieces. Description:
A black-glazed tea bowl was in a unique form.
Apparently caused by firing effects, the surface of the glaze was transformed to a mysterious image that was charming and different.

This porcelain bowl was made in the 12th - 13th Century during the latter part of the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It is fairly "heavily-potted" and coated in a transparent pale celadon glaze, save for the foot that remains unglazed. The inner surface is decorated with incised floral patterns.
