It was being worn by noble people for it's good metaphor.
It was in greenish tint better than in the pictures by preserving very good condition.

Large wooden sculpture of an Arhat, a disciple of Buddha. An impressive and well carved piece with a very nice expression and with the original polychrome. H. 68 cm. Condition: age cracks, wear to the painting, some damage to the fingers, the right shoe has been replaced. Chinese work, 19th century.

Description: It is a gilt-silver hat finial of an official of Qing dynasty. In Qing dynasty, the official uniform was strictly regulated including the hat decoration. Hat finial was categorized formally from Younzhen reign(17th century) as 9 classes. Gold tip(gilt) the sixth category were used by officials like county administrators.
This tip was decorated with three bats (means well-being in Chinese pronunciation)
amid swirling cloud and ru-yi motifs in open work surrounding
the golden ball...
The Manchu woman did not practice foot binding or wear Lotus Shoes. However, the women did wear various styles of thick soled and platform soled shoes. The sole on this pair of Manchu shoes is 1.5 inches thick. The vamp is canvas with wonderful large eyed fish embroidered with silk thread towards the back of the shoes. The front fish are made of velvet fabric with chain stitched embroidered details...

Chinese nephrite jade dog of a charcoal grey to dark grey coloration with off-white forepaws and muzzle. It has a sleek body and a sweet face. Where the forepaws come together, there is a hole for putting a thin rope through for wearing.

Long Chinese Qing dynasty hardwood bench crafted with four panels on the back rest, a curved front apron, and comfortable armrests. 19th century. 74 3/4" long x 29" high (17 1/2" high to seat) x 23" deep (21 1/4" depth of seat). Very sturdy and in very good overall condition. There are some minor separations from our dry Arizona climate. There is a small wood loss and old filled crack at one side of the bottom apron. Large Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain wash basin decorated in underglaze blue with leafy vines and sweet pea flowers set against a white ground with a pale blue tint. The exterior holds three flying bats. There are small amounts of kiln grit adhering to the unglazed foot rim. The base is glazed. 13 3/8” diameter x about 4 1/2” high. 19th century.
