Description: A charming amber pendant was carved with Chilong motif. Silver framed with chiselled flower motif and a word " Fu " (well-being) on the reverse side though at 19th century, the carving amber piece was from 17th-18th century of Qing dynasty. Preserved in very good condition, attractive ice cracks can obviously seen under magnify glass. Aged but greasy feel looking, the hue is much more darkened in real than in the pictures...

Chinese bronze tripod ding censor with two upright arched loop handles at the rim. A geometric band encircles the rounded body. A comparison with porcelain forms suggests a dating of S. Song to Yuan dynasty for this vessel. 5 1/8"H x 3 3/4" diameter. There are original casting flaws on the legs and a slight dent in the body (see enlargement 6). This piece is from a Tucson, Arizona estate.

Large Chinese Northern Wei Dynasty Painted Pottery Saddled Horse with Oxford TL Test

This impressive pottery horse was made during the latter part of the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 386 - 534). It is made from a buff-coloured pottery and is quite "heavily-potted". Its surface has been cold-painted in a creamy-white pigment, good traces of which still remain. The horse stands upright and alert. On its back is a large integral saddle.

Chinese late Ming (16th/17th century) Zhangzhou (Swatow) porcelain deep charger decorated in iron-red, green, and black overglaze enamels on a cream-colored crackle glaze ground with a central roundel holding flowering peonies. A band containing four floral panels against a crossed line ground extends around the circumference of the rim. 13" diameter x 2 3/4" high. Description:

A Yaozhou bowl was mold in curved rim.
Well carved with floral motifs on the surface outside the bowl, the bowl was stand on a circular foot ring.
Padding grits were preserved at the bottom when incursions were happened to the mouth rim and on the ridges of the patterns where the glaze was thinner.
It was in perfect condition.
Iridescent effects were reflected in the glaze.

Date: Song/Jin periods, 11th/12th centuries...

A well painted late 19th Century Chinese Moon Flask decorated with scrolling lotus design and with panels on each side depicting two confronting dragons. There are two 'chilong' dragons on the shoulders. This item was made during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a 4cm (1.5 inch) hairline running from the rim and an old chip to the back of one of the chilong dragons. 19.5cm (7.7 inches) high.
