Description: A charming amber pendant was carved with Chilong motif. Silver framed with chiselled flower motif and a word " Fu " (well-being) on the reverse side though at 19th century, the carving amber piece was from 17th-18th century of Qing dynasty. Preserved in very good condition, attractive ice cracks can obviously seen under magnify glass. Aged but greasy feel looking, the hue is much more darkened in real than in the pictures...

Being penetrated as wall of holes for light going through, the scholar item was most favoured by literati for the natural mood.
It was reserved in very good condition by enduring old patina.

A unique piece of zitan wood used as a sample for the scholar's woodworker. This piece is unusual as it shows a very light color of the zitan wood which is probably close to the bark area. A pair of mythical animals (mother and child) of a creamy jade color. It has small areas of natural brown, light orange and grey coloration and inclusions. The jade is beautifully carved and feels lovely to the touch. The curled tail of the smaller animal forms a round hole which enables a thin rope to be put through it. Absolutely endearing. Description: A unique gilt bronze archer's ring was skillfully hammered in double decks. The main portion on the outer surface was casted with two types of Chinese archaic words Sou (Long Life)in open work and surrounding the ring when chased dots were decorated. Very fine and rare Japanese Edo era Hasami Bako, or storage/traveling box, measuring roughly 12" wide (including brass hanging hooks on sides), 5 1/2" deep, and 6 1/8" high. It dates to the late Edo era, some time between 1780 and 1850. The top is slightly domed, as is visible in some photos, and all edges and corners are decorated with incised brass metal sections, and two U shaped handles are on both ends, and can stand upright, as would be the carrying position for a larger trunk. Description: A pair of jade plates were in transparent light green tint. By a shallow and flat foot ring, the plates were decently decorated on the surface with gilding motifs of leafy flowers, fruits, bamboos and pine trees. Carved in a light way, the vibrant plants were finely rendered before gold pigment was filled in to enlighten the whole picture against the celadon jade ground. Description: A magnificent brush pot was made of Nan-mu wood in 18th century. In an imposing manner, this brush pot was carved with imitation of a wood trunk. Left with original wood patina and some crackles amid the surface, this brush pot was kept in good condition except loss of the bottom board. A later made bottom was added firmly on it.
