Description:
A beautiful Ewer pot was well glazed in yellowish slip.
In nice profile, the Ewer was well potted in decent form.
Fine crackles were yielded due to age.
Some abrasions were found on the surface and at the foot base.

Date: Tang Dynasty, 10 Century.

A nice Tibetan 108 bone prayer beads with two leather counters from Lhasa. The bone is most likely yak bone. It has two turquoise spacers and silver counter. Acquired in Lhasa, Tibet over 15 years ago. Size: 40cm X 2.

A beautiful large black Seto Guro Hikidashi Chawan with undulating rim sculpted to perfectly rest in the hands by some anonymous 17th to 18th century potter. It is 5 inches (13 cm) diameter, 3 inches (8 cm) tall and in fine condition.

A pair of Japanese Edo Period Ko-Imari porcelain choko. Polychrome enamel decoration of chrysanthemums and Paulownia. Buff tone along the rims. Fuku marks centered inside the foot rims. Diameter almost 3 3/4 inches (9.525 cm). Height 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm). At least early 19th century. Good condition.

A unusual rare well carved jade pendant with a stylized head of a Zhou pig on top and tapering down into a fang or a claw.. The upper part of the jade is of a black and tan color and the tail is translucent. There is a hole at the back of the mouth for stringing. Size: L. 4.7cm. W. 1.2cm. Condition: See last photo.

An ornate and richly decorated Chinese cloisonne enamel vase c1900 in the Persian taste. This 16" decorative vase features a blue ground with colourful flowers, leaves, flower buds and branches in pink, white, brown, red, pink, orange, blue and green. The decoration is allover in a chintz style and unusually this vase has a tab style collar standing proud from the body. It also has a pair of gilded animal head handles...

A nicely carved natural amber pendant with one bat and leaf design. The bat represent longevity and happiness. The bat and happiness sound is in the Chinese language is similar - both pronounced Fu. Size: L. 2.5cm. Condition: No repairs, cracks or chips.

A Japanese blue and white koro with all over cartographic decoration of the Japanese Islands, with provinces labeled, and other bodies including seas and land masses with countries labled. The name used for Korea uses the name Joseon which dynasty (established in 1392) ended by varying accounts between 1897 and 1910. The censer could be later still. The cover with Shishi lion pierced finial over the compressed spherical tripod censer with stylized handles...

Chinese red glass bead necklace. These types of beads were originally used by the palace officials. Size: 33cm X 2.

Gazing at the back of the traditional Maiko apprentice, pins and combs hold her coiffure perfect, our eyes travel down to the neck revealed as it joins the white painted shoulders, the luxurious kimono with its signature high and draping sash: She has the two of hearts! A very unusual painting reflecting the oddities of western influence at the opening of the 20th century by Matsumoto Ichiyo (1893-1952)...

A rare unusual bronze mirror with two mythical animals that might be tigers. Age: Western Jin Dynasty - 265 - 316 AD. Size: Diameter - 9cm. Condition: No repairs. Natural aging with nice patina.

The circular dish made of fine milky white porcelain decorated in overglaze enamels as iron-red, blue, green, yellow, black and gold. The well painted with a prunus tree, coiled dragon and ho-o bird. The reverse with scrolls. Condition: fine, the green enamel with partial spalling. Dimension: diameter: 20.9 cm.

Straits Chinese silver hallmarked adjustable mesh belt with a three-part buckle decorated in low relief with a fish among flowers. The back of the buckle contains two hallmarks with Chinese characters (see enlargement 4). 19th century. High grade silver weighing about 8 oz. Measures 34" long from end to end. The three-part buckle is about 4 3/4" x 1 3/4." Very good overall condition with minor wear and a few tiny snags at the edge of the mesh...

A Mandalay Buddhist votive domed covered alms bowl with glass inlays. Age: Early 20th century. Size: H. 48cm. W. 20cm. Condition: No repairs.

Lacquer covers the natural curves of this wood tray for use in the service of Sencha leaf Green Tea. It is 10 x 14-1/2 x 1 inches (25.5 x 37 x 2.5 cm). The bottom shows wear typical of use.
The importance of Sencha in the late Edo and Meiji periods cannot be overlooked, and has been studied in depth in the book Tea of the Sages, the Art of Sencha by Patricia Jane Graham.

Description:
A fine and nice tripod censer was applied on the surface with black glaze.
It was in decent look by well proportioned body with three supporting feet.
The feet was shaped with well-executed skill by apparently a bamboo cutter or some hard tools.
'Cause obvious scraping scars were left at the feet trunks.
The scars were also approved by a documented piece.(See last picture.)

To the left of this mark is a small red oval panel holding two dragons and the script “Tian di yi jia chun” (“Heaven and earth are united as one family in spring”)...
