Crackle porceain decorated with polychrome flower on the center, the cavetto divided into 4 panels and decorated alternately with floral sprays and trelis pattern, unglazed base. PERIOD : late Ming (1566-1643 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 29 cm wide. CONDITION: very good, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

Small brush pot decorated with floral sprays, glazed base. PERIOD : Transitional (1630-1660) MEASUREMENTS: 10 cm wide, 8 cm height. CONDITION: a small chip to the inner rim, no cracks, no hairlines and free from restorations.

Description:

A root wood carving was intriguingly made to imitate a crane standing on the mountain top in stylized posture.
By two pieces of original root wood, and with minimal cuttings, a beautiful picture with traditional Chinese metaphor of Longevity was then nicely rendered.
The wood piece had yielded the fine patina on the surface in firm and sound condition when one minute old restoration was on the leg.

Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th Century.

Cream colored satin ground with design of a peacock and a small bird amidst flowers, elaborately embroidered in Peking knot, Pekinese and satin stitch. The opening couched with silver and gold paper wrapped thread forming a bat. With a blue and white edging. The woven drawstring with beads made of rose quartz. Purple silk lining. Bottom with a paper label. Condition: silk with patina, two small little stained area, few traces of usage. Dimension: 31 cm long, opening: 5.5 cm wide.

Mate is a traditional South American infused drink prepared from steeping dried leaves of yerba mate. This traditional antique tea straw or more accurately, mate straw is called a Bombilla. Both the straw and its matching mate container were made by the Industria Mamboreta of Argentina. The mate container is a gourd decorated with a hammered silver bottom and a wide silver rim. The silver has a deeply etched floral design with highlighted gold tones at the center of the flowers...

A good example of Ming dynasty Chenghua period Mingyao product, decorated with two figures and house to the interior center. Underside with continuously flower scrolls. Condition with one slight bigger chip and two tiny chips, no any crack. Price included re-touch till invisible. Diameter: 13.2cm.

 

A rare white glaze bowl in octagonal shape, decorated with vividly relief of Chinese Eight Immortals. Late Ming dynasty 17th/18th century Fujian Dehua ware. Condition with minor flake chips, about three very tiny chips and one slight bigger found visible on enlargement 1, but no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 15.5cm and High: 7.6cm.

A Junyao cup was in decent shape and was applied with charming bluish glaze.
By well shaped foot ring which revealed with brownish-tint body clay, the oval cup was incursioned on the surface with blurred and earthern-feel condition.

Description:

A decent wood stand was well structured by precious Zitan and burl wood.
Framed by a unique species of Da-Yei Zitan, and panelled with burl wood board in the center, the wood stand was reinforced in the underside with lacquered cotton cloth.
Strong and sound, the wood stand was yielded on the surface with darken patina.

Date: late 19th century.

A nice one of Yuan dynasty b/w bowl, decorated outside with chrysanthemum scrolls and inside the center with flaming pearl, empty space cavetto and classic scrolls around inner rim. Overall good condition except minor two tiny chips which easy to retouch till invisible(please examine on picture 6&7) and a soft short hairline (impossible to take this picture). Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century, found excavated on central Celebes. Diameter: 12cm and High: 5.5cm.

Elegant shaped and very well potted white glaze double guard ewer, covered overall with such called 'Thian Pai' or Sweet white glaze. Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century. Condition with spout reduce and glued repair, otherwise is perfect. High: 12.5cm.

Beautiful carving in the Balinese Art Deco style made of heavy tropical wood. Bearded man traditionally dressed with kris on his back, holding and feeding his gamecock. Condition: filled crack going through one foot and base. Dimension: 52.7 cm high, weight: 3'045 g.
