Description:

A Longquan bird-feeder was in lovely size and was in shape of a lotus bud.
In favorite lake-green tint, the vessel was revealed at the bottom with rough-feel body clay.
It was preserved in very good condition with limited glaze frets happened during manufacturing or under incursions.
It was a rare piece from which some similar ones were in the collection of the Palace Museum of Beijing(see last two photos).

Southern Song/Yuan periods, 11th-13th century...

A blue & white vase, decorated with vividly motif of flowers and fruits blossoms among precious emblems to the globular body. Hare mark on the base within double circle. Ming dynasty 16th century, Jiajing phase (1522-1566). Condition: there is a hairline to the neck. High maximum: 18 cm.

Description:

A solid cast bronze toad was finely rendered in a vivid way.
By a crouching posture, the momentum was gathered fully by the frog which is ready for a flying bug.
The bronze piece was very well depicted not only the outlook but also in the details on the surface, the toad’s skin. The irregular lumps and bumps may not be delightful but were manufactured so well as to activate the bronze frog to a real one...

A nice and perfect one of Longquan dish with foliated lip rim and lobed cavetto, the center decorated with carved of vividly lotus pattern. Early Ming period. Diameter: 12.2cm

The Guanyin seated on a lotus throne, accompanied by two attendants. At the back of the figure there is an opening where offerings or religious texts were kept. This piece is 35 cm tall and dates from the 18th century. Condition: paint loss, worm holes (treated), age wear, an ornament missing at the top of the back plate. From a Dutch private collection.

A definitely fine b/w jar, decorated with cranes on flight among cloud scrolls, nice emblems pattern on the shoulder and key-fret border around the rim. The foot rim surrounded by lotus petal windows, four character 'Chang Ming Fu Qui' coin mark on base. Middle Ming 16th century late Zhengde to early Jiajing phase. Condition is excellent. High: 11.5cm and Wide max: 12.3cm

A blue and white bowl, decorated with two branch flower and leaf, Ming dynasty late 15th century Chenghua private-kiln ware. Condition with two hairlines, otherwise in good condition. Diameter: 15cm.

Description:
A Changsha ewer pot was rarely kept with the original cap.
Being applied with yellowish glaze, the ewer was decorated on the body with characteristic brownish stripes.
Intriguingly made to imitate a fowl, two wings and a tail were squeezed to the body. They were also the characteristic form for the Changsha wares.
The glaze was transparent and in greasy look while immensely spread crackles were yielded and were accompanied with incursioned earth...

 

Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period round form deep plate decorated in underglaze blue on a celadon-white porcelain ground with two deer standing in a rocky landscape under a pine tree with a bat flying at the upper left. Bats and deer shown together symbolize blessings and wishes for high rank and official salary. The pine is a symbol of longevity. Four bamboo leaf sprays are at the outer rim. The foot rim and base are unglazed. 18th century. 11” diameter x 2 3/8” high...

Chinese Ming dynasty (16th century) blue and white porcelain meiping vase with bell-shaped cover decorated overall with classical lotus flowers among scrolling leafy stems, separated into three layers. The shoulder features the lotus-filled ruyi collar motif. 11 ¼” high (9 ¾” high without the lid). Very good overall condition with typical flaws, small areas where the glaze did not completely cover, and microscopic scratches to the glaze. The vase is slightly misshapen...

This is a blue and white Chinese Export miniature "Long Eliza" trumpet-lipped vase comprising molded lobed panels having ladies and foliage in the Kang Hsi style, bearing a jade mark on the underside, It is in excellent condition and measures 4 1/2 in. approx.

A definitely rare example of Ming dynasty b/w dish with design of four fishes among lotus pond and water weeds in peacock green glaze. Six character mark 'Da Ming Xuan De Nien Zhe' but probably later product of Chenghua period if compare with a similar piece with Chenghua mark in Shanghai Museum visible on enlargement 10. Condition is broken into four pieces with two small missing part, and firing imperfection to the glaze. Diameter: 21.5cm

Description: One prestigious and rare Jianyang Temmoko bowl was in attractive pitch-black glaze. In elegant domed shape, the luster on the surface inside and outside the bowl was introspective and charming. Under the magnifying glass, web-like thin cracks were spread all over the surface...

 

Description:
A fine and nice tripod censer was applied on the surface with black glaze.
It was in decent look by well proportioned body with three supporting feet.
The feet was shaped with well-executed skill by apparently a bamboo cutter or some hard tools.
'Cause obvious scraping scars were left at the feet trunks.
The scars were also approved by a documented piece.(See last picture.)
