An exquisite minimalist set of Ten Porcelain tea cups with lacquered wooden covers and saucers made by the Zohiko studio of Kyoto and enclosed in the original compartmentalized signed wooden box. The cups are of simplistic form small round white orvs between the brush textured lacquer lids and saucers. The cups are 3 inches (7 cm) diameter, the saucers 5 inches (12 cm) diameter. Overall in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

An exquisite sake cup from the Asakiri kiln of Akashi decorated with a verse and spray of bamboo enclosed in a period wooden box signed by Yamada Takeshi (descendant of Yamada Kikutaro, Edo period founder of the kiln). A finely cast bronze priest's bell with a nice patina and sound, dating to the Late Central Javanese Period. The body resembling a stupa with floral ornaments and garlands. A doucai tea bowl decorated with six groups of geometric shapes on the outside of the bowl on a white ground. The interior is similarly decorated with a single grouping. The base with a six character under-glaze blue Yongzheng mark surrounded by double blue under-glaze blue circles.

Condition: Very good condition - no breaks or cracks. Some slight wear to the enamels
