Very large Japanese Taisho to early Showa period cloisonné enamel wide shouldered vase tapering to a narrow base decorated with a dense assorted floral spray on the front and a single flower to the back all set against a dark blue ground. Copper substrate, base and rims. Circa 1915-1930. 14 5/8” high x about 8 1/2” wide. Very good overall condition. There are faintly visible spider crack scratches to the blue ground...

Lovely example of Han tomb sculpture. Made of red pottery, painted with red, white and black pigments. Both are in good condition, with normal age wear. Please note the remains of plant roots on one of the oxen, a very good sign of authenticity. A TL report from Ralf Kotalla confirms the age. H. 16 cm, L. 20 cm.

Unique Chinese ceramic brush pot decorated all over in a faux marble effect glaze. On the reverse of the pot is a character poem with two seal marks.

Magnificent tureen decorated with floral patterns. The handlles in the shape of gilded lion masks. The lid crowned by a gilded Foo dog. Dimensions: 34x22x26 cm. Condition: a 7 cm hairline in the bowl, otherwise perfect.
Of oval shape with lovely feet in the shape of leaves (lotus ?). The inside richly decorated with panels with trmple gardens, flowers and butterflies. Originally this bowl was part of a large dinner service, commisioned by the Dutch East-India Company. Dimensions: 31x24x8 cm. Condition: one chip of 1x0,5 cm, otherwise perfect.

Pair of famille verte "Shou" character ewers or teapots. Each side of both has a central panel with a student surrounded by flowers on a black ground. The base of both has a six character Kangxi seal mark in black with the word "CHINA" in red.

Japanese cylindrical blue and white porcelain brushpot in three-section bamboo form decorated at the center with birds in flight among tree tops. The top section is covered in a key fret pattern and the bottom section with a myriad of small white circular medallions containing foliage set against a blue ground. A band of scrolling foliate decorates the flat interior rim, which is dressed brown...
A pair of Chinese porcelain rice bowls and covers. Painted in famille rose enamels with dragons among lotus scrolls above waves. The base of each bowl carries a six character Daoguang reign mark in iron red. Republic period.
