Description: A full scale(quan-kai) paper painting of ink and colors was from a famous Qing painter Ren Xun(1835-1893).
Well rendered, the figures and scenes were finished by excellent maneuvering of the master painter’s brush strokes.
Defects were observed though, the ancient painting had been well restored and framed by a master Chinese painting restoring expert Lin Mao Long who have done a lot of works for the Palace Museum of Taipei.

This antique Japanese tea caddy is called a "Cha-ire" and dates from the late Edo period. It was used for storing thick tea which is called "Koicha". The more common tea caddy form or "natsume" was used for powdered or thin tea. The chai-ire forms vary somewhat and were most typically made from clay.

Description:
An elegant brush pot was made from the precious Huanghuali wood.
Being preserved with charming brownish patina on the surface, the brush pot was carved totally from a wood trunk, including to the bottom.,
The characteristic signs of ox-hair wood grains and ghost–eye marks were obvious.
By well proportioned shape, it was decorated on the rims and the supported feet with lineated ridges.

By kind of cute everted foot, the censer was mold in round body and was fitted with arc handles on the upper rim.

Rare set of six Burmese bronze opium weights, or cock weights, in a Brahmani duck type hintha (also called a hamsa) bird form with upturned tail sitting on a round base. The largest two have handles attached to the back of the head and end of the tail feathers. There is a metal support under the V-form tail. The largest weight has an old tag taped to it that reads “1513 grams” (3 lbs. 5.4 oz.). I confirmed this weight on a scale at the post office...
