An ornate and richly decorated Chinese cloisonne enamel vase c1900 in the Persian taste. This 16" decorative vase features a blue ground with colourful flowers, leaves, flower buds and branches in pink, white, brown, red, pink, orange, blue and green.
The decoration is allover in a chintz style and unusually this vase has a tab style collar standing proud from the body. It also has a pair of gilded animal head handles...

The name used for Korea uses the name Joseon which dynasty (established in 1392) ended by varying accounts between 1897 and 1910. The censer could be later still. The cover with Shishi lion pierced finial over the compressed spherical tripod censer with stylized handles...

Rectangular composite panel of antique embroideries from the Ottoman Empire. The basic fabrics are different plain weaves, embroidered with silk and few metal wrapped threads, composed and sewn together in the Ottoman city of Salonika or Kavala. For similar example please refer to "Textiles of the Islamic World" by John Gillow: page 31 with illustration. Condition: allover good, occasionally little losses to embroidery. Dimension: 113 cm x 118 cm.
The circular dish made of fine milky white porcelain decorated in overglaze enamels as iron-red, blue, green, yellow, black and gold. The well painted with a prunus tree, coiled dragon and ho-o bird. The reverse with scrolls. Condition: fine, the green enamel with partial spalling. Dimension: diameter: 20.9 cm.
Straits Chinese silver hallmarked adjustable mesh belt with a three-part buckle decorated in low relief with a fish among flowers. The back of the buckle contains two hallmarks with Chinese characters (see enlargement 4). 19th century. High grade silver weighing about 8 oz. Measures 34" long from end to end. The three-part buckle is about 4 3/4" x 1 3/4." Very good overall condition with minor wear and a few tiny snags at the edge of the mesh...

Lacquer covers the natural curves of this wood tray for use in the service of Sencha leaf Green Tea. It is 10 x 14-1/2 x 1 inches (25.5 x 37 x 2.5 cm). The bottom shows wear typical of use.
The importance of Sencha in the late Edo and Meiji periods cannot be overlooked, and has been studied in depth in the book Tea of the Sages, the Art of Sencha by Patricia Jane Graham.
Description:
A fine and nice tripod censer was applied on the surface with black glaze.
It was in decent look by well proportioned body with three supporting feet.
The feet was shaped with well-executed skill by apparently a bamboo cutter or some hard tools.
'Cause obvious scraping scars were left at the feet trunks.
The scars were also approved by a documented piece.(See last picture.)
