JOMON STONE GLANS
Tip part of ancient Japanese ritual phallic object called 'Sekibo' (lit. 'Stone stick') dated back to the Jomon period (ca. 14000-1000 BCE), excavated from the Jomon site in Takayama, Gifu area,
attached with wooden stand with plaster inside of hole for stabilising. Total with stand: H 7.3 cm (2.87in), Sekibo itself: H 5 x 4.5 x 5 cm (1.96 x 1.77 x 1.96in)...
The shape of the jar is very typical for the Siwa Culture with the curved mouth and the handles. Apart from some minor chips it is in good condition.
H. 22 cm. This jar is from a collection of 30 Neolithic pieces that I bought from a Dutch collector.
A Neolithic Jade Ring was found in nice type.
It can be easily used as a pendant.

Khmer 9th - 10th Century Glazed Stoneware Bottle
This small stoneware bottle was made during the 9th -10th Century. It is coated in a very pale and finely-crackled greenish-white glaze that has flaked from the surface in places, this being typical of early Khmer glazes. The body is a little under-fired, being absorbent, and has fired to a pale pinkish-white where unglazed toward the flat base. On opposing sides of the shoulder are two small thick loop handles. A rare crystal ring from the Pyu dynasty carved with a fish,the sea and a crescent moon. The fish is a early Buddhist symbol for incarnation carried over from Hinduism.
In Hinduism, one of their symbols is a fish. One appeared as an avatar (incarnation or physical bodily manifestation) of Vishnu to save mankind from the Great Flood.
The Fish (matsya) were originally symbolic of the rivers Ganges and Yamuna, but came to represent good fortune in general, for Hindus, Jain and Buddhists...
A very rare crystal tiger from Burma/Thailand. Crystal was thought to have magical powers and the tiger represents strength. It is unknown how they drilled the holes to make it wearable.As you can see they were drilled at both ends, probably before the crystal was carved.
Age: over two thousand years old.

A very Large translucent pale blue-green glass earring from Southeast Asia, probably from Vietnam or Cambodia.The glass is in the form of a thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. There is some soil encrustation on the ends from being buried.

An ancient necklace made from fossilized wood also know as Pumtek. The word Pumtek means "buried thunderbolt". This type of necklace is very rare.

Made in mid Java, hammered and chiseled copper or bronze, decorated with a kind of vase with flower branches. Diameter 40,5 cm. Very good condition and lovely patina. Only one tiny hole.
