Description: A genuine excavated black glazed bowl(Temmoku) of Song or Yuan Dynasty(12th-13th Century) was preserved rarely with the original silver wrappings around the mouth rim. Though the silver wrapping foil was fragile and looked like debris, the body and the glaze of the Temmoku bowl was in firm good condition. This is a fine ovid yingqing meiping, It is designed with a simple incised line without the engraving of any motif. The meipimg is divided into four equal segments all divided by two parallel incised lines. Within all this incised lines, the greenish glaze can be seen pooling at the recessed part. A luted line (pic 1 and 2)can be seen at the joint between the upper and lower half of the body. Overall, a very nice and well potted yingqing meiping,

This is a fine, beautiful and brightly coloured example of a small “Jun” ware bowl which was treated as a “manufacturing defect”. The bowl is well glazed in a bright lavender colour with pooling of a bright blue sky glaze at the base of the bowl. It would have been a fine piece if not for an overglazed which has resulted in an overflow of a big pool of the glaze down to the sagger. This is a rare and good quality Ming dynasty longquan celadon export ware in very good condition. The dish stands on a short foot and then everted on a slightly flat base towards a short and flat everted scalloped rim. On the inside of the base of the celadon dish, it has a rare moulded motif with a “radiating sun ray” as compared to the usual incised or moulded lotus, floral, dragon or fish design...

Description: A dark black glazed bowl was found from a shipwrecked hoard of South East Asia. Produced probably from Fujian kiln, this beautiful black bowl was preserved with original charming glaze condition only with one minor glaze defect on the mouth rim. This bowl had been cleaned meticulously with boiled water and ready for real use. Some coral adherence were kept for authentication and for original mood. Date: Southern Song to Yuan Dynasty(13-14th Century) Width: 11.2cm Height: 6.0cm

This is a medium-size Liao dynasty (907–1125A.D.) moulded polychrome earthenware plate with leaded glaze. It rests on a short foot rim, a flat everted base before rounding up. It has a simple floral motive. On the underside, the glaze is in dark olive green with the glaze flow stopped short at about just before the short foot rim exposing a light greyish white earthenware.

This is a Song dynasty (960 – 1276 A.D.) white glaze stem cup. It rest on a flared foot rising inwards to a short neck and then towards a everted u-shaped cup. It has a simple abstract cloud like wave motive between two bands of lines. On the underside, the white glaze flow stopped short at about half way down the stem exposing the light buff colour stoneware. A nice piece.

This is a Song dynasty (960 – 1276 A.D.) Henan splashed bowl in Russet brown colour. It is conical in shape with a flared rim, supported on a very short foot. The centre of the bowl is covered with lustrous black glaze with splashed brown streak radiating from the centre. At the bottom of the bowl, there is minute traces of iridescent silvery colour (pic 3).
