This a beautiful armadillo necklace designed by Valentin Vidaurreta and produced by Manuel Altamirano. It was also produced by Hector Aguilar. The necklace is 16 1/2" end to end and 1 1/2" wide at the center rounded square. Circa 1945-50, it is in fine original condition. The black velvet appears to be original to the piece. Signed as shown. Altimirano also worked for Hector Aguilar at the Taller Borda. His pieces with his own hallmark are scarce and this necklace is exquisite.

Lovely vintage sterling mid-century modern biomorphic pin. Circa 1955. Not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. With a cabochon cut and bezel set genuine moonstone.

1 7/8 inches wide by just over 1 inch long. Excellent condition.

A Japanese lacquered agiro pipe case (kiseruzutsu) finely decorated with a cockerel and hen, signed Shinsen (?). The pouch is tooled leather with iron and silver cockerel and hen inlaid with a gold clasp. The ojime is shaped as Daikoku's mallet in unknown material. The actual color of pipe case is closest to the photo #11. 19th century, late Edo period. Dimensions: Pipe case, 8 1/2 " long, tobacco pouch, 5 1/4 " x 3 "

A nice 'Henan' type bowl, covered overall with a rich and good black glaze. Mark on the unglazed base. Song dynasty in perfect condition. Diameter: 17.9 cm and High: 6.5 cm.

Description: One small Jianyang Temmoko bowl was authenticated by all the typical characteristics - the iron grayish body, the typical straight foot rim, the deposits in the pinpoint holes on the body , dry-feel mouth rim, crackled glaze and the foggy water scar left on the glaze. The bottom of the foot ring was uniquely shaped as a flat form. It was a lovely piece with a genuine look from first sight...

A rare and recently excavated b/w bowl, decorated with cranes and deers among pines tree, it's kind of typical painted from Ming dynasty Hongzhi period (1488-1505) private kiln ware, but very unusual to found a character mark on base and should be a valuable piece for documented to private kiln ware with variously mark sign. Condition with one chip to the rim and restoration would be for free. Diameter: 14.6 cm and High: 6.5 cm.

A bold hand hammered sterling bracelet by Israeli Modernist Rachael Gera. Her work is always large and spectacular and this bracelet is no exception. It measures 6" around in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening (with some flexibility either way)and is 2 1/8" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed R. Gera. A fascinating piece.

Transparent cobalt blue glass bowl, 18th / 19th C. Rounded sides and slightly flaring rim, the exterior carved and incised in relief with peonys, bird and taihu rock. The reign mark Qianlong nian zhi is incised in standard script within a bold square on the base. Condition: fine. Dimensions: 16,2 cm diameter x 7,3 cm high. Weight: 538 gram.

A blue & white Swatow type bowl, decorated outside with panels of scrolling motif and inside the center with a crane within double circle. Late Ming dynasty 17th century. Condition is perfect except slightly warped. Diameter maximum: 18 cm and Height: 7.5 cm.

Bowl with flower shaped lip rim, decorated inside cavetto wall with incised chrysanthemum flowers. Yuan dynasty Jindezhen Shufu type ware. Condition is perfect. Diameter: 15 cm.

A rare blue & white kendi, decorated to the body with a landscape. 17th century Arita export ware. Condition is perfect except one tiny flake glaze to the rim and impossible to take a picture. Height: 18.3 cm.

A good celadon small dish, covered overall with bluish green glazed and decorated to the center with impressively of typical Longquan ware twin fish. Song dynasty (960-1279) Condition is perfect except tiny flake chip to the foot rim and a bit less shiny to glaze surface, otherwise is really fine example of Longquan twin fish dish. Diameter: 13 cm.

A b/w small vase, decorated with floral sprays among clouds scroll. Ming dynasty 16th-17th century. Condition is perfect except a flake chip to foot rim and minor firing fault to the neck. High: 10 cm and Width approx 9 cm.

A blue & white vase, decorated with vividly motif of flowers and fruits blossoms among precious emblems to the globular body. Hare mark on the base within double circle. Ming dynasty 16th century, Jiajing phase (1522-1566). Condition: there is a hairline to the neck. High maximum: 18 cm.

SOLD. She called and said, "I really like them...they go well with my grandmother's antique necklace..." In a USA studio these were designed and assembled resulting in a one of pair of earrings. SOLD, this style can not be duplicated.
