This is a magnificent, handmade, c.1930-40 sterling and amethyst bracelet in the style of Fred Davis. Possibly by Fred Davis but signed only Silver Mexico. The large, chunky, amethysts are a bright purple and faceted into a round dome. They are free of chips or cracks. The stones are a great compliment to the graceful, flowing silver design. Description: A Rare Yaozhou Baby of 12th century was excavated with obvious evidence of adhesives. With sophisticated olive-green glaze, the lying Song baby survived over 800 years and still reflected the restraint glaze glamour the excavated piece always have. Set of Four Makuzu Kozan Studio Plique Butterflies Cups, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
The cups are 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall, and 2.75 inches (6.75 cm) in diameter.
They are in good condition with no repairs, except one cup has a small chip at the lip, and another cup has a tiny hairline at the butterfly wing and a manufacture defect firing crack (with glaze on top) at the lip (as seen in the photos).

Description: A Qingbai box with cover which decorated as a mandarin duck was painted with splashed russet glaze. In pale blue hue, beautiful crackles spread all over the surface.

A discreet masterpiece are words which could easily describe this gorgeous chunk of antique burled vine root carved and polished to a subtle sheen in the shape of a two tiered vase inset with bamboo pots. The piece rises from pebbly textured burl, abundant with character, like a clay pot which collapsed during firing. The second level appears to float above the first on tendrils of smoke. 16th Century Japanese Mino School Tanto Short Sword Signed along with Lacquer Saya, Gilt Horses, Chrysanthemum & Wasp
The overall length of the entire tanto is 19 inches in length. It weighs 1.5 lb.
The blade is extremely sharp with no nicks, breaks, repair, nor scratches. All the accessories are in good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, nor repair except small chips and cracks at the lacquer saya.

A quaint hand-carved image of Minogame (a sea turtle) supports this antique bamboo pipe tap dating from the second half of the 19th century, the rich dark wood highly polished from a century of fond handling glows like satin. The turtle is a symbol of longevity in Japan, and often is depicted in celebratory situations. Here the creature has been chiseled out of a solid chunk of wood, head raised over the top of its shell...
