A rust-red 5-clawed dragon wraps around the neck of each. Circa 1900 to early 20th century. An apocryphal impressed zhuanshu 6-character Qing dynasty Kangxi square form reign mark is on the base. A very rare Chinese jade of a stylized bird. The jade is translucent of a green and brown mottled coloration. Carved with a minimum of design giving an it a minimalistic, abstract look. It has large convex circles for eyes. The back has two interconnecting holes for passing a string through. The back has a naturally occurring hairline fissure of a dark reddish brown coloration. Has some calcification from long burial. Size: H = 1-3/8", W = 1-3/4"

Ame-yu graces the rough textured clay of this large Mingei platter from Aizu in the Northern reaches of Japan on the border between Fukushima and Yamagata. Often mistakenly identified as Tamba due to the similarity in the coloring of this particular glaze, the underlying granular white clay gives it away. About the rim is a ring of fire-colored tendrils trapped in a groove, an interesting added feature. It is 31.5 cm (12-1/2 inches) diameter and dates from the later 19th century...

A great example of art nouveau enamel work is this 14Kt yellow gold pansy watch pin/pendant. The vivid violet color gradually transitions into white and from white into light brown in the center. The center is further enhanced by an approximately 0.15Ct old-mine diamond. The pin/pendant is designed in two overlapping layers has a safety catch and a fold down bail. The height and width is 1 1/8”.

Very rare and highly collectible "Bubbles" cuff designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co. circa 1980. Using the inlaid mixed metal art of Damascene, the bracelet is comprised of gold, silver and iron. Measuring 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1" opening, it is 3/4" wide and weighs 26 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A truly amazing piece.

One of the best Spratling treasures is this V cuff . It is big at 163 grams and 3in. tall on the front angle. It currently is 2.5in. at the inner diameter. Hallmarks shown are noted in the book Spratling Silver A Field Guide by Phyllis M. Goddard to be 1st phase. The jewel has been well kept with no dents and the very pretty stones have natural inclusions as to be expected. The V cuff is thought to be designed by Valentin Vidaurreta who was respected by William Spratling...
