A beautiful Mexican Silver Palomas y Rosas necklace signed by Ricardo Salas Poulat in stamp and engraving is one of the breathtaking designs from the Matl Taller. The repousse is beautifully carved on the tops giving greater detail to the large puffed links. The rose drop is 2 3/4's inches tall and the birds are 1 7/8th's in. at the tallest point. All showing the quality of 108 grams of heavy silver. I find the length of 19in. to hit at the perfect spot on the chest...
A very good sized sculpture of Pedanda, a Brahman priest of the highest caste.
This is a traditional sculpture, not a piece for tourists. It's made of hard wood, very intricately carved and has a subtle polychrome.

A very unusual incense burner in the form of two servants holding up Hotei as he looks joyously toward the night sky. It is performed in crackled white glaze over pale clay with simple iron decoration. It comes enclosed in the original signed wooden box bearing the Teishitsu Gigei-in seal titled Ga-korai Hotei Koro indicating it was based on Korean decoration techniques. Copper green and dark iron decorate the pale glazed sides of this exquisite box dating from the early Edo period (17th century) wrapped in a silk lined sarasa bag and enclosed in a black lacquered wood box. This 14Kt yellow gold openwork ring is an excellent example of a master craftsman’s design and work. The rectangular top is centered by a 5 millimeter round faceted aquamarine. The aquamarine is framed by 12 square cut blue sapphires with a single-cut diamond at each of the four corners. The ring is a size 7 and it can easily be sized.

Unique and very rare is this Los Castillo 419 brooch with a built in triple bead necklace when attached to a collar. The swirl medallions disconnect (with an old spring ring push pin) so you can wear just the medallion brooches if desired. The medallions are thick and heavy repousse at 47 grams. Their length is 2in. x 1.25in. wide. The largest bead on the drop is 14mm. When laid straight the brooch is 7.75in. long. This treasure has been handled with love and is without damage.

The unusual idea of having a ring that is a watch was made reality by an artisan jeweler in the middle of the 20th century. The watch is in working condition and has a Swiss movement with 17 jewels. The top of the watch measures 17 X 14 millimeters, and the size of the ring is 7 ¼ that can easily be sized if needed.

Beautifully sculpted from one piece of wood, this horse and rider sail effortlessly over a fence. The sculpture measures 16" high, approximately 19" from end of board to tip of horses nose, and the wood base is 13 1/4" x 4 1/4". Measuring 10" high, and 13" at the widest point on the flared lip, this unusual Oribe vessel is likely a hibachi. Round at the bottom, the lip flares outward in a square shape, and the drip glaze is typical of Oribe wares, with rich flowing colors from dark olive green to deep turquoise, with flecks and spots of black, with lighter blue sections. Rare eye catching pair of sterling silver cufflinks designed & signed c. 1949 by Taxco, Mexico artist Valentin Vidauretta (1902-55). Each link measures 1 1/4" across X 3/4". The pair weighs 23 grams. Valentin also designed for Hector Aguilar at Aguilar's Taller Borda as well at Spratling and Antonio Pineda. The links carry Valentin's hallmark along with the eagle 9 assay mark.

This 14Kt two tone openwork bar-pin is decorated by a blue enamel inner-frame and centered by an approximately 0.07Ct brilliant cut diamond. The enamel is in perfect condition. The length of the pin is 2 ½ “and the width varies from 3/16” to 5/16”.
