A Beautifully carved tube shaped jade. It is hard to date this piece and say that it is from the Hongshan period (3000BC). It is most likely from a later period as these item are extremely rare. 16th Century Japanese Mino School Tanto Short Sword Signed along with Lacquer Saya, Gilt Horses, Chrysanthemum & Wasp

The overall length of the entire tanto is 19 inches in length. It weighs 1.5 lb.

The blade is extremely sharp with no nicks, breaks, repair, nor scratches. All the accessories are in good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, nor repair except small chips and cracks at the lacquer saya.

Hand carved and weighing a healthy 180 grams of sterling silver, this trio of seldom seen Spratling cuffs measures 1 1/4" high when stacked. Each are 7/16" wide and about 6 3/4" to 7" wearable. Beautiful vintage condition and patina. All hallmarked. This sleek design is an elegant take on Spratling's more often seen pyramid cuffs. A large 17th to 18th century Buddhist sculpture of a Rakan (arahat), well sculpted, his naked torso gilded in gold with robes and shoes in black lacquer, carrying a large urn which is an active incense burner. The sculpture is 2 feet (61 cm) tall and in overall fine condition. There are minor losses to the lacquer and gilding typical of age, and a repair to his left foot. Both little fingers are missing from his hands; these could be repaired if desired at additional cost.

Fine Chinese Tang Dynasty Horse & "Fat Man" Rider with Oxford TL Test

This fine pottery model of a horse and rider was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). Sitting on the horse is a male courtier, often referred to as a "fat man", the male equivalent of the "fat lady"; note the clothing and hairstyle. It is made from a relatively high-fired buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in various coloured pigments.
